“We were overall very satisfied with the hotel – it was good value for money and friendly staff.”
ç The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had a fantastic view from the villa we had rented. The place is a bit remote, and you will need a car or other transportation to get to and from the hotel. However, the staff are very willing to help by picking up takeaway food, drinks, and other necessities from nearby eateries. You can also book delivery from 7-Eleven. Breakfast was of a satisfactory standard, with both Thai and European dishes. There is no restaurant at the hotel otherwise, and no bar either, so no alcohol is served. It’s a great place to stay for a few days while exploring the many attractions in the area. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The villa we had booked was very nice and spacious. It was the 85 m² unit with two bedrooms, a large living room, and a long, beautiful balcony running the full length of the villa. Located on the first floor with stairs.

“Pleasant stay but with some minor setbacks”
I like the serenity of the place. The area has agricultural plantation, other accommodation that were located some distance away. My booking was for a 2 bedroom villa that had attached bathroom in each of the room. There was also a large outdoor space for hanging out complete with a mesh netting in one of the section that overlooked the ground floor area. Very lush and pleasing surrounding. Staff was helpful, to the extent of letting us use their 7-11 convenience store app to order food and delivery. Bear in mind, there is only a nearby restaurant that is about 10-15 mins walk away. And it was so dark at night which discouraged us. We only went once to that restaurant for early dinner and then back to the resort. Breakfast was nothing fancy, just basic items. We had air conditioning problem on the 2nd day and although it was resolved much later that night, the problem arose again the next day. We were offered the next villa but it was a 1 bedroom villa and thus, we had 2 side by side units. This 1 bedroom villa only has a small balcony but otherwise whole unit was enclosed and therefore, no insects! Water pressure was also much better. In this unit, a microwave was provided along a refrigerator. We only had a refrigerator for the 2 bedroom villa.

1. Peaceful location, about 7 mins drive from Khao Kho main street. They can accommodate big groups. 2. Cooling temperatures in the morning and evening. 3. Value for money accommodation in Khao Kho with a modern interior setting. A lot of the other accommodations look like homestays while I was researching about Khao Kho. 4. Limited items for breakfast but it tasted okay. We were able to get a hearty breakfast daily before setting off for our sightseeing. 5. Lastly, we were not expecting WIFI in the rooms since it was stated there will be no internet. So imagine our surprise when we did get some WIFI signals (weak signals but better than nothing).
