The Margarita was basically a bar with rooms which were clean, comfortable but basic. The bar is lively and regularly frequented by locals, with a wide range of tasty drinks including their take on a Margarita which is a must. But the thing that made the stay was the exceptional food. We would strongly recommend a stay and will be returning soon.

Amazing place! Ella and George were such wonderful hosts. The food was lovely - with plenty of flex on the menu for kids and a vegetarian - and the beach access incredible. We hired kayaks and SUPs and did the full day boat tour, plus a taxi to the town's Saturday night market, all helpfully arranged for us. The family room was an ideal set up.

“Brilliant stay in a coastal secret location”

We absolutely loved our stay at Margarita Beach! As a family with two young children (3 and 5) - this was our final stop on the coast having been to Samui and Koh Tao. It was excellent! The shacks are great - simple but spotless and comfy. Our kids loved the upstairs of our family shack. The food is amazing - a great mix of Thai, soughdough pizza, incredible tacos, burgers, bbqs to name a few. It was the best menu we’ve seen on our trip - breakfast was awesome too. The bar and cocktails are great too - a really chilled and happy vibe. The service is excellent and everyone is very friendly and willing to help out. Finally, never have we had such an amazing beach to ourselves! There is a natural sandbar directly off the shore which means it’s shallow enough for the kids to play in for hours. This feels like a real treasure on the coast. The pink dolphin tour is nearby and fantastic. Go and check Margaritas out.

Everything was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, the bar and restaurant were amazing, loved our room. When we realised scooters were not for us the venue arranged a private land tour of the area for us which was fabulous.

Brilliant little place to stay - we wanted to see the pink dolphins but sadly there were not enough fit the trip! But the hotel suited our needs perfectly

“An outstanding gem in Khanom!”

In my opinion it’s a little paradise. The atmosphere is cosy and laid back. If you want some rest e.g. from busy bangkok here is your place. The spacious thai shacks (with everything you need), a cosy and comfy bed and a terrace with a georgious view. Directly at a white sandy beach. It‘s the eastcoast, so if the weather is nice you can enjoy a stunning sunrise. The food is also very aroi mak mak! But not just the cherry on the top are the people there. They are awesome and caring. It’s fun to talk with them. I arrived very early, but the let me stay at the beach and I even got an earlier check in. And they organised a rent motorbike for me. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Ing, Phon and Dan and everyone!

We loved everything about this resort.... we came to relax and when we left we were horizontal..... goes on our list of perfect places to stay..... the food was exceptionally good, beer lovely and cold and staff very attentive.... We'll be back for sure and that's a threat...

The staff were brilliant! Their motto was “Absolutely no trouble…” So kind and helpful. We loved our lodge on the beach, especially with the aircon and fan. Superb food - they have a Thai and an English chef. George bakes his own delicious bread daily!!! The beach is so clean, with hardly anyone around, and the bar/restaurant close at 9pm so it’s incredibly peaceful. Margarita Beach is a little piece of paradise. If we hadn’t booked a flight, we could have stayed much longer!

Location right on the beach, super friendly staff, a bit away from town but you can rent a scooter at the hotel. I can really recommend this place if you need relaxation and peace. Lots to see in the area, especially the trip to Sichon is worth doing, as well as a trip to the waterfall, we swam and had some lovely hours there all alone without other tourists. Afterwards, we went up to Coco Loco, which is a local restaurant just above, where we were welcomed by the owners with warmth and hospitality that you rarely find. We had a really wonderful week at Margarita Resort.
