Nice view from our room, clean and spacious

The hotel was excellent large comfortable rooms and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and the room rates were excellent value for money. Air conditioner was sufficient. showers were hot.

We ended up extending for two weeks, which probably says enough. The location is exceptional, literally on the beach. The beach itself is huge and mostly empty even during high season, so it often feels like you have it to yourself. Swimming is easy, the waves are beautiful, and you can walk for ages. Breakfast is remarkable with plenty of choice. There is also a nice pool and a surprisingly good gym downstairs, more like a real gym than a typical hotel fitness room. The hotel itself is a bit older but very well maintained and extremely clean. During three weeks we did not see a single insect in the room. Staff are attentive, reception is open 24 hours, and room service keeps everything tidy. Rooms have everything you need: fridge, kettle, hairdryer, desk area, lounge corner, and a beautiful balcony with sea view where you can hear the waves. The price is also very good for what you get. Hard to beat.

Loved my quiet room with no other sound than the waves. Brilliant location for the beach, which has a reggae bar a couple of minutes away. The restaurant over the road is good and the breakfast was lovely.

“Wow what a find!”

Wow what a find! The location is directly on the beach and the view from your room, part jungle, part beach was amazing! Wake up to jungle noises, including sounds of gibbons every day was incredible. The price for our stay was very reasonable and we ended up staying a further 5 nights. The beach is incredible and so quiet if you need some time away from the touristy areas. There isnt a lot to do and own transport or a taxi is needed to go to most places but if you just want relaxation you've got it. Staff were lovely, rooms were so clean and the pool was great. We even saw bioluminescent plankton at night in the sea. Will definately be back!

On the positive side, the location is great, the breakfast was decent, and the blankets were warm, though again, the sheets were rather shabby.
