It seems old but well maintained, with the price and facilities offered, everything is well worth. Staffs are polite, friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Staff were very friendly and provided good service. The hotel is located in a quiet spot and has easy access to shops and local attractions. Meals are tasty and of great value. One improvement can be made is to provide better quality pillows for customers.

The hotel, located uphill has a nice view of the bay and bridge linking the mainland and Kesennuma Oshima. Both breakfast & dinner were sumptuous. Although I booked a Japanese room, the staff kindly accommodated my request for a western room as my husband was nursing a persistent backache

Huge room! Lovely, lovely onsen. And a breakfast with sooo much delicious food. Go for oyster soup if you have a chance :) Good location with the view over the bay. The building felt slightly dated but in the way of old glory, not entirely passing yet.

The room in traditional style was huge, with beautiful view. The hotel is on the hill, parkin lot is at the foot of the hill, there's an elevator directly to the hotel. They have nice onsen.

The onsen! Included in the hotel fee, but do note that you have to pay a (cheap) onsen tax. Nice, big room and located near good food places. Staff are really friendly and really helpful even though they don't speak very much English (but Google translate suffices). Free shuttle bus service to Kesennuma station (and I think even to Sendai station). The restaurant is pretty good too! (Better than some of the ones near the fish markets)

I loved the views, the location, the onsen, and the friendly staff. The room was large, clean and traditional, very comfortable and quiet.
