Very nice designed comfortable room

The place was nice, cute and clean. I love the fact that it is right next to the Kern river. I did some fishing and the water was good and clean as well. There was just one issue, I booked through booking and asked for a bed four my child and it was not considered that later I informed by manager that was due to the miss communication.

Close to downtown Kernsville (shopping, museum, food), lovely scenic location - able to walk down by the river - not too far of a drive from 100 Giants Walk (about an hour and fifteen minutes). Comfortable 2 night stay for my sister and I as we made our way around CA sites - kitchenette with nice small but roomy refrigerator, good shower, lovely grilling and outdoor seating area, coffee shop and general store just across the street.

Quiet and peaceful - lovely location in the mountains with access to riverbank. Several beautiful hiking trailheads nearby.

Make sure you spend a couple of hours just sitting at the river. Great location, very peaceful.

Completely immersed in the American western spirit of the films. The lodge is typical, and so is the surrounding town! Nature is all around, making for a magical experience. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The lady on reception was extremely kind.

Nice rooms cosy and definitely worth the money. Great location and very clean.

Lovely cozy and clean with great access to the park and there is a few diners nearby for breakfast or dinner. There is also a stream in the grounds where you can do some astrophotography of the milky way on a clear night. Felt very safe sitting outside the lodge at night.

The location was beautiful, next to the river and surrounded by mountains. Very peaceful. Shop over the road did an excellent breakfast. Owner of the lodge was charming.
