This is a comfortable, welcoming guesthouse where you're made to feel more like a family friend than a customer! I'd have loved to stay here longer and explore more of the surrounding area. Highly recommended!

We had a really nice stay at the Ollila Farm. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, we slept well. Having a wood-heated sauna in the evening was a real treat. Breakfast was great. The old part of the house where breakfast is served is beautiful. I especially enjoyed listening to native birds living in the area, including Crex crex and Acrocephalus dumetorum.

“Lovely farmhouse and location”

We stayed in several places around southern Finland, and this was the best. The location by the lake is stunning. We ate dinner at a lakeside restaurant a few miles away, run by a friend of our host. Savonlinna is a short drive away, as is the world's largest wooden church. Great base for exploring Finnish nature. Amazing breakfast, including local specialities, freshly made bread, and cooked eggs and sausages. Given that we were the only people staying that night (summer season had not started yet), this was exceptional service. The breakfast room in the farmhouse was very pretty.

“Lovely stay in a cosy farm house”

We had a wonderful time a the farm and long pleasant discussions with the owner, who also gave us great recommendations of things to do nearby. The place is as pictured with a big garden on a lake, with a sauna and well decorated living room. Room mis quite small, but we have access to all common areas (living rooms & garden) so it feels like being at home. The breakfast is amazing with a lot of choice (sweet, salty, vegan options...), we definitely recommend!

Rosie, the ferocious guard dog (I'm joking 😁) was the highlight of a perfect stay. The owners are kind and helpful, the farm is located on the lake and you can have a swim or also a sauna. The bedroom with bathroom was really nice and with view of the lake. Also the breakfast was really good, and you have free parking on the property.

“Cosy quaint bnb by the lake”

Hekki and Susanna were great hosts! Super friendly with a wry sense of humour. The bnb is quintessential Finnish countryside with great views of the lake, an awesome firewood sauna and bbq facilities! My daughter absolutely loved the ducks and chickens roaming freely around the bnb as well as the delicious banana pancakes!! It is not sparkling clean in the rooms but understandable given that they are a little short staffed.

Ollila Farm stay is lovely. It is located by a serene lake, wonderful for watching the setting sun. The breakfasts were great and our hosts were very kind and informative about local sites of interest and local restaurants. By the lake is a sauna and also a very useful kitchen and eating area which was fantastic and unexpected.

Very nice host, very good service (with excellent tipp for dinner and arranged reservation at the restaurant), additional use of Sauna by the lake, good and plentiful breakfast. Nice room with view to the garden and the lake in the background.
