“Our Perfect Home Away From Home”

This was our third stay at Konaki Apartments in the same room, and it truly feels like home. We always look forward to coming back. The location, the room, the host—everything is wonderful!

Perfect location, where you want to get lost and never be found again. Even our teenagers liked it and that is a big deal, considering the signal was not always strong enough. Magical place on south Crete.

Stunning view on the terrace, spacious rooms its very quiet, relaxing and secluded (so prepare to buy food in advance) - i love the cats that live there so much 😀 and will miss them a lot 😢

“Peaceful”

What a stunning place to stay, exactly what we hoped for and much more. A beautiful location, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, and very few people! It really was the highlight of our trip staying here for 5 nights. Thank you

It's an amazing location, mostly uninhabitted, empty beaches for yourself, you can walk far along the water, you an also take a car and do some (shorter) hikes elsewhwre. There is a small beach just outside the house as well. Very quiet, no cars, no light polution, nothing. Perfect for those who like a calm holiday in the nature. The apartment is very good, small but has everything. Kids loved the 2 friendly cats living there, for them it was the highlight of the holidays. Winter season (christmas, new year) was really pleasant - good weather, very warm but not too hot, maybe except sometimes during day time.

It was a truly amazing experience! The location of the apartment is truly advantageous offering unbostructive view to the sea, while the whole lanscape is astonishing. The well-equiped and modern-style apartment provides all the required amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. Highly recommended to all who seek peace and tranquillity in a idyllic place in the southern part of Crete.

“Peaceful”

Location absolutely stunning, very remote, you really do need a car, and if you plan to cook then stock up in advance - the supermarket in Kerames has an okay range but is quite small. Super quiet - there wasn't anyone staying in the apartment next door, but as there is just a wall between the 2 terraces I can imagine, it may not be quite so peaceful. Lots of small, beautiful beaches just a 1-2 minute walk away, and a taverna within walking distance in both directions. (Ligres Beach Taverna is accessible by walking across the beaches with a few rock scrambles - it has a great menu, stunning views and decent prices - and they accept card) The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, and has everything you need with a well equipped kitchen. Bed is good, could do with using a double duvet for the double bed, rather than 2 singles, which is odd! Host is very friendly and when we sent messages, got back to us fast.

“Dream house”

Beautiful views of the sea from the living room and the kitchen and the sea sound that can be heard everywhere in the house. The mountain views in the back. Peacefulness and tranquility, only birds, not many people as if being at the end of the world. Sunny days during winter, warm enough sea to swim (17-18C) in January. Watching sea storms and some really amazing sunsets from the terrace (the sun angle might be different in summer). To us it was a paradise. The apartment has a central heating, great insulation, drinkable water, paper flushable toilet, etc (all rare in Greece). It is equipped with the high end appliances and Scandinavian style furniture. Large shower space and a high end washing machine. As we came with our own car we had many our own supplies and groceries stocked for a long time so we had no discomfort of being so remote. Its perfect for those who love living off the grid because the food access is very limited off season and the roads are winding and narrow. The owners are friendly and the local people are very kind. Our car got stuck in the middle of nowhere but eventually local farmers came by and pulled us out. We got to know the local gardener Giannis who was very kind. The closest farmer market is in Spili and fishermen in Plakias. A mini market in Kerames is open in winter until lunch. I am sure there are more options in summer.

The beauty of the location is beyond imagination.

Perfect and comfortable apartment with all you need for a great stay. One minute to a practically private beach, great views and a pair of cats waiting for you. I recommend it!

It is the second time we booked a room at Konaki Apartments, and it feels -absolutely- like home (even from our first visit..). Surely we want to come back to Konaki apartments! Serenity, relaxation, and pure summertime would characterize our stay.. The location is perfect, the view amazing, the room fully equiped with anything we needed, and the host kindly provided all necessary information for checkin, and is directly replying to our messages. “Carpe diem!”

Enjoying the quietness of South-Crete on a wonderfull location with a fantastic view and steps away from the beach. Everything was available in this very nice appartment. The covered terrace is a big plus! Supermarket and tavernes also available.
