The location was fantastic, a stones throw from the sea and beach. Restaurants nearby but the restaurant in the hotel was superb. Staff were very helpful and friendly and made our stay excellent.

Pool side room, with a view out onto the beach and sea. Lovely spot at the start of Kep town. Great bar where you could view the world go by. Easy tuk-tuk to the crab market and some of the best food you'll ever have (Kampot pepper crab). kep is VERY quiet, but we really liked it!

“Great hotel fir a relaxing beach holiday.”

The beachfront location was wonderful with uninterrupted views of the sea. The hotel has a simple rustic charm. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice, although a bit limited was really good as quite different from the usual fare offered in most hotels. Food was really good in the restaurant at night with a varied menu and delicious cocktails. I especially liked the unlimited cold water from the stations on each floor meaning no plastic bottles. If you want a get a peaceful beach holiday then I recommend it, but there's not much else to do in Kep apart from the mountain behind which was great for sunset photos. Tuk Tuks available to take you a 40 min trip to Kampot if you wanted more vibe and things to see and do.

The Saravoan-Kep Hotel is very popular with YouTubers and before going there, I viewed reviews of it by no less than three YouTube influencers. However, unlike them, I did not tell the staff that I write reviews and I did not get any kickbacks for writing this. This is my honest opinion based on my own experiences. Keep reading until the end because the last one is a zinger. Ok, so we’re outside of Phnom Penh for one thing, which means that some things get more relaxed, and other things are not available. The Saravoan also sits right on Kep Beach, so this is one of the main reasons you are probably staying there. You can literally step out of the hotel, cross the road, and you’re on the beach. I also stayed in a Superior Double Room with a gorgeous view of the ocean, and I would often sit on my veranda, or stand near the glass doors enjoying the vast expanse of the ocean, and the surrounding islands. We stayed there for five nights, which was probably too long. By this time, we’d eaten all the different kinds of street food, and tried the local restaurants. The array of seafood is impressive but by the end of it, I was craving a ham sandwich just from something different.

Fabulous location, balconies facing the sea and islands, pool, beach and sea, great breakfasts and wider food menu, attentive staff.. I've been many times and can't wait to be back

“A little gem”

Loved my room on the ground floor by the pool, the room was fresh and clean. The food was good, both the breakfasts (many dishes to choose from) and the lunch and dinner I had. The staff were friendly and nice. Very close to the bus stop to/from Siem Reap or Ha Thien. 1.5 km from the main area of Kep, but it’s walkable or a cheap tuktuk ride away. Would definitely stay here again.

“Best spot at Kep”

The location was perfect and the view of the ocean awesome. The upstairs room was nice and comfortable. The bathroom a little basic but very functional and continuous hot water. The restaurant was well placed to enjoy the ocean view. The pool was a decent size and very clean. The hotel manager extremely helpful and arranged transport for us as required.

“I loved Saravoan-kep hotel”

Amazing, incredible, exceptional. We stayed in loads of 5 star hotels throughout Cambodia and hands down, Saravoan was the best we stayed. The staff was so lovely. They are definitely what made our stay so incredible. Please, if you even go to kep, don't forget to visit Rabbit Island. It was one of the many highlights from Cambodia.

The location is superb, just by the sea and the view from your room, from the Hotel is amazing. Rooms are not modern design nor new. They look like the rooms from the 1980s but it is still cozy and comfortable. . The furniture on the balcony is not well maintained. It would be more lovely with decent furniture on the balcony to enjoy the view. . Hotel provided good breakfast and food from hotel bar is also good and reasonable price. Generally, I enjoyed my stay there and I would like to go there again.

Beautiful location and the room and sea views are well worth a stay, plus great coffee and food well suited to western travellers
