Overview
Located 18 km from Kenton on Sea, Kariega Game Reserve Ukhozi Lodge features accommodation with panoramic views of the valley. Each of the suites at Ukhozi Lodge boasts a private plunge pool and a deck overlooking the valley. They are equipped with a complimentary mini bar, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and air conditioning. The en suite bathroom has a bath and a shower. All meals and selected beverages are included in the rates at Ukhozi Lodge, as well as morning and evening game drives and other game activities. Free WiFi is available in the main lodge and guests can also relax in the shared boma area or at the outdoor pool.

The lodge and suites are stunning. Game drives with Megan were amazing as Megan was so keen to ensure we had a great experience and saw all of the animals we could. Wonderful 3 night stay. Excellent food and staff support, and very well run lodge overall. Highly recommend.

An amazing lodge where you felt very comfortable and very special, like an old friend. The game drives were excellent and we got very close to all the animals. All the staff were outstanding and our guide Melissa was fabulous. I’m recommending this lodge and estate to all my friends.

Kariega Game Reserve is an amazing big 5 gem in the Eastern Cape. There is an abundance of wildlife, and every game drive was special. The vegetation is lush and green with pristine forests. Very knowledgeable game rangers who go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful experience. Ukhozi lodge is beautiful and luxurious without been ostentatious or over the top. all our meals were excellent.

Repeat visit. We have stayed here at least 12 times in the past, and although familiar is always slightly different - which is why we come back. Morning and afternoon game drives with 'Melissa' very enjoyable.

“Amazing stay at Ukhozi Lodge- we will return.”
Breakfast and evening meal was incredible- you could order from a menu. There are also an extensive range of good quality wines and beverages available. Our tour guide Mondi was amazing, we saw lots of animals which was an amazing experience.

We were on our honeymoon and staying at the lodge has been the absolute spotlight of our vacation, we can’t recommend Kariega more. From seeing the animals in their natural habitat, to the most beautiful sunsets, to relaxing pool sessions in between! Special thanks to the ranger Ben who was so knowledgable about the park and the wildlife.
