Overview
Located on Kendwa Beach in Nungwi, the Sunset Kendwa Beach Hotel offers spacious rooms and bungalows. It features a dive centre, a restaurant and 24-hour front desk. Theses newly renovated rooms and bungalows feature a four-poster bed with mosquito net, air conditioning, a seating area and a safety deposit box. The private bathrooms come with a shower and hairdryer. Breakfast is served in the morning. The hotel’s Sunset Restaurant offers Swahili and International cuisine and cocktails and refreshments can be enjoyed at Bikini Bar, which also offers evening entertainment. Other facilities offered at Sunset Kendwa Beach Hotel include a shared lounge, luggage storage and currency change. Laundry and ironing services are available for a fee. The property offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. Activities on site or in the surrounding area include watersports and billiards. “Tutto poco curato”
The restaurant food is sooo good. Thanks to all the guys!!! The only very nice thing is the beach bar, which is open all day with some music to brighten up the day. The staff at the bar and restaurant are always smiling, and that is the only reason I am giving two star!!! Thanks guys!!!

It was well located, with the sea just in fron of the facilities. It had plenty of sunbeds in the beach, you can easily spend the day there.

“Good beach access and great food, but the poor service, weak WiFi, old towels, and uncomfortable roo”
The best part of the stay was the restaurant. The food was very good, and compared to the nearby options, it felt like one of the best places to eat in the area. The hotel also has very convenient access to Kendwa beach, which is a big advantage. The beach itself is beautiful, and being able to reach it easily from the hotel made the location very good.

Great room with lovely little balcony. AC worked well and room was clean and tidy. Food was generally good and great drink selection. The layout is really well laid out with bars, restaurant, cafe, beach and pool all close together. Great location and really good value for money. Preferred to neighbouring hotel and better value.

The only thing I will say is that this place has the best energy in the world. The staff, the views, the nature, everything makes the perfect environment to release all your stress and make long lasting memories. To our friend if someone from the staff sees this tell him that we were waiting for him to come to the gate so he could come with us to stone town but he wasnt there so we left, hope your beautiful daughter grows up healthy and well. “Pleasant relax and swimming”
Excellent position, the best beach of Zanzibar, ideal for swimming, quite clean (less weeds higher low tide than in almost all beaches of the island). The sunbeds very close to the sea. Very helpful and kind staff. The breakfast was very good. Excellent price-quality ratio.

The hotel is set on the wonderful sandy Kendwa Beach, Swimming in the warm clean sea was lovely. The rooms are spacious with huge beds and good bathrooms overlooking the lovely palms and well kept gardens.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The beach lounge is absolutely beautiful and such a peaceful place to relax. The breakfast was fantastic with great variety, especially the egg station and the fresh fruits. Our room was very comfortable, and we loved the large space in front of our balcony — it made the stay feel even more special. We also had dinner at the hotel several times, and the food was always incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed every moment of our stay and would love to come back again. 😊
