What I liked most about the property was its beachfront location at Sansi Kendwa Beach Resort. The resort offers direct access to Kendwa Beach, beautiful ocean views, well-maintained facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the pool and beach areas were particularly appealing. What truly stood out was the exceptional staff. We were travelling with our 2-year-old daughter, and she was treated like gold throughout our stay. The team went out of their way to make her feel welcome and cared for, which made a significant difference to our family holiday. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine warmth created a memorable experience and made us feel valued as guests. Overall, the combination of the stunning location, quality facilities, and outstanding hospitality made our stay very enjoyable.

We really liked the location. It was in a quiet nook of Kendwa, although we did go in the quiet season so i can imagine it would be busier at other times of the year. The staff were so lovely and the food and facilities were so good, clean and well maintained. We were even upgraded to a sea facing room and the staff also gave us an all inclusive upgrade. We would highly recommend this resort!

“Lovely 5 days in lovely setting”

Small intimate hotel, which i prefer. Nice basic rooms. Very clean. Staff are excellent. Communal areas are spotless. Food was OK, not restaurant quality but more than adequate. Lovely pool. I enjoyed seeing the boats come and go. I didnt stray from the hotel as solo female. The town and others in zanzibar and tanzania are strewn with rubbish and open drains ( government dont provide refuse collection) .. but the people are immaculate, friendly, happy, always waving and smiling. I think most African islands etc have a litter problem, its not unique. The hotel though and tge whole beach was very clean. I had the deep tissue massage..AMAZING!!. I would recommend this hotel. Air con good, shower powerful and hot. Bed very comfortable. Return from breakfast..room cleaned and bed made, return from dinner, bed ready for the night with nets down and room sprayed.

We had an absolutely amazing stay and were happy with everything from beginning to end. 🌴✨ The rooms were spotless and cleaned perfectly every day. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They truly made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. When it comes to the food, you must try the fish dishes — without exaggeration, it was the best fish I have ever eaten in my life. Absolutely unforgettable. As for the beach, you cannot enter the sea directly in front of the hotel, but after just a few steps, you find yourself in one of the most beautiful oceans in the world. And if you are lucky, you may even see starfish in the water. ⭐️ The level of security was also beyond impressive. You never feel alone anywhere, and if you have any concerns or fears about traveling in Africa, the hotel staff do an incredible job of making you feel safe and relaxed. I have honestly never experienced having someone watching over my safety and belongings while I was swimming in the sea before. We were also worried about mosquitoes before arriving, but the hotel handled this perfectly as well — every evening they came to our room to do mosquito spraying and make sure we were comfortable. In short, this hotel gave us a truly unforgettable holiday. A huge thank you to every single member of the staff for their kindness, care, and exceptional hospitality. We will never forget this experience. 💙

We received a fairly nice discount due to off season which was pleasant..... The local staff are wonderful and ever helpful - for me the staff were the best thing.....

Restaurant staff was very friendly, especially Catherine. And Captain Henry was an amazing guide on the tour to Mnemba Island. The entertainment program was generous. The beach gave a close-up into the community rituals.

Had the best stay here just a few steps from the ocean. The manager upgraded the room for free to the ocean view room, staff prepared a birthday surprise for me with ballons and a cake. All in all, the staff was amazing, always helpful and in a good mood. Wonderful breakfast buffet as well.

The staff were lovely and the gardens - they gave us a very nice welcome and fruit platter and we loved the balcony garden views and the pool view of the beach.

- The Beach is endearing with the boats and the local life. You can walk along the sand around the corner in 1 minute for that expansive beach you see on the internet. -It’s in the heart of the village which is cool to get some very basic essentials - The guests are very chill and it’s a place to switch off. -West facing Sunsets are amazing. You can just “think” and watch the world go by without interruption. - They have Heineken beer

It is located right on the beach, with a very cozy terrace restaurant. The management and staff are polite, helpful, and speak good English. I especially recommend the massage service.

Everything about this hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the delicious food to the warm hospitality of all the staff, every detail was perfect. The room was cleaned daily and always spotless, which made our stay very comfortable. The location is stunning, with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. Having dinner on the beach was an unforgettable experience and truly made our stay special. Words are not enough to describe how amazing everything was.
