Overview
Located on Kendwa Beach and surrounded by lush gardens, Kendwa Rocks Hotel offers rooms and suites with views of the Indian Ocean or the garden. Zanzibar Town is 1 hour drive away. Featuring local furnishings, all rooms and suites are equipped with air conditioning, a fan, en-suite bathroom, digital safe box and mosquito nets. The double and twin rooms are located upstairs and offer balconies, looking towards the sea. The more spacious suites have a seating area and a verandah with sea views. There are also some rooms with a view to the garden. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower and free toiletries. Breakfast is served in the morning. Kendwa Rocks also has a restaurant serving Swahili and International cuisine. A variety of exotic cocktails and refreshments can be enjoyed at the Mermaid Bar. On selected evenings, the hotel offers live music and evening entertainment. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including diving, volleyball, snorkelling and canoeing. Kisauni Airport is 60 km away and airport shuttles can be arranged on request for a fee.

Stayed at Kendwa Rocks Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely beautiful — right on a stunning white-sand beach with crystal-clear water. The atmosphere was relaxing and vibrant at the same time. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Breakfasts were delicious, and the restaurant had a great variety of food and drinks. The sunsets here are unforgettable. This hotel is perfect for both relaxing and enjoying Zanzibar’s nightlife and activities. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar

The staff are so amazing! The receptionist, Mahmoud was so exceptional at his desk! John, the guard at the beach was so friendly and great. And oh, Mariam the guest relationship manager was great too! Amazing team and great service! Keep it up guys!

During the week, the resort is awesome, beach is clean soft sand and the water is beautiful. Beach activities nearby if you wish. Concierge really helpful in booking taxi services and excursions. Really enjoyed our stay.

“Perfect beach”
Kendwa Rocks is a hotel with an amazing beach, one of the most beautiful beaches I saw. The sunset here is stunning. Rooms are big and spacious with everything you need for your stay. The food in the restaurant is very delicious.

Location, Location , Location. I always return for the stunning Location. It is nice to see that the facilities, menu and services gave been upgraded. I loved my room with a Seaview. The spa is looking amazing and Adam manages it well.
