Furaha Beach Rooms really lives up to its name cause we were met every day with a big smile from every one, and genuine warm hospitality so it made us feel really welcome and home away from home. Everyone did their best to make us feel cared for, and I truly believe it’s Doris who has set the standard for taking care of the guests in such a genuine and heartfelt way. When I got sick, Doris made sure that I was well taken care of care of in every way possible. Furaha is one of a kind holiday stay:))

“Again and again and again: my favorite place”

The staff is amazing

Absolutely AWESOME five night stay. The place is even better than the photos. The staff are superb; friendly, smiling and attentive. The decor is just lovely and chill. Location is perfect...away from the incredibly overpriced resorts a ten minute walk up the beach. Food was great, always piping hot which was the first time since the start of our vacation. My wife and I loved this little slice of chill paradise. If you are lucky enough to see a room available BOOK IT!!

Top location in Kendwa. Very clean and cozy rooms. Drinking cold wather avalible all the time. Delicious breakfast.

Everything, location is incredible, atmosphere is exceptional, amazing chilled vibes, down to earth people, relaxing space felt at home! Best breakfast in Zanzibar. Staff are incredibly friendly, facilities and room was clean. Plenty of cats that ate well looked after. Restaurant served amazing food with great view, upstairs and downstairs.

“Perfect stay”

The property is on the beachfront. The hostess was extremely accommodating and helpful (Doreece). This was by far our favourite stay in Zanzibar, the restaurant has the most amazing food. Everyone was extremely accommodating, from the kitchen, cleaning staff to the barista. They even baked a cake for my fiancé’s birthday. This is a must visit if you are coming to Zanzibar!!

“What a good place!”

The host was amaizing from the beginning to the end - very friendly, polite, helpful, was telling and showing all area and you really can feel like at home - all support will be provided from all the staff (they have amazing security guys, kitchen staff)! Room itself was very comfortable and beautiful as well very spacious! There was aircon, teapot, some coffee/tea, couple of glasses, cups, as well all the toiletress needed. We loved breakfast - it was amazing with amazing view! One morning we gone very early for fishing, so we get a take-away breakfast packs, what was super usefull. There is a restaurant onsite (same name, under the same roof) - we eaten there several times and no regrets! As well we brough our cathced fish to prepare for us - they made it in three different ways - and it was suggestion of the cheff 🤩 as well one driver have difficulties to find us, so I just give a phone for security guy - and he lead him to find us well. As I told - amazing and very helpful staff. We regret only one - that stayed too short, wanted to come back! After this place we visited some other places arround the Zanzibar, but wanted to come back here 😊 btw - this place is just right on the beach, so you can go to swim in two minutes from your room door 🫠

Amazing stay!! It is a wonderful place, with a beautiful atmosphere and well decorated with local and authentic handicrafts ! Breakfast is delicious too with fresh fruits and different options you can selected. Beach is wonderful full and the staff so friendly! Congratulations!

Great location and helpful staff. Our room was in the back, without outside space. But a short walk from the beautiful deck and beach. The room was clean, with toiletries and big towels. We really enjoyed the stay.

Amazing location. The staffs were so friendly and especially Dorris at reception who was very understanding and allowed us to do early checkin and late check outs. The room was very big and all had required amenities!

“a really lovely stay”

the staff is great and very helpful, the location fantastic, the beach is 15 steps down away. The area is quiet and lively at the same time. The restaurant is very pleasant and the food is very good. When there is no electricity, the generator takes other quickly. There is a very good atmosphere, room is big and bathroom enormous. After we left the hotel because it was full en went to sleep somewhere else, we still went to have lunch and dinner there.

Everything - big and clean room, close to the beach, good restaurant. Especially, the availability of the shower room near the reception that allowed to have it if you have late transfer after you already checked-out.
