There are two en-suites rooms next to each other, with a shared balcony and kitchen. We were alone on the floor at this time. The rooms are clean and tidy. Rooms are clean daily except Sundays. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is ok. Property is behind some resorts (Kendwa Rocks), and entry is through a village street market. The Beach can also be entered via Kendwa Rocks for a fee. Other options to the beach is via the village street, few minutes walk. Felt safe walking. There is also wifi available.

It’s located in a good place

The room was rather overpriced for its location (bit of a walk to the beach because other hotels block easy access) and various things needed fixing, most specifically the aircon. The owners were stressed because they had things in their own house breaking and I understand it is not always easy to fix things in Africa, but I am not sure the guests need to be burdened by this and I was told the aircon not working was my fault, so not very gracious! As it turned out, after two very hot nights, the battery needed changing in the remote, even though the remote said the battery was full - decidedly not my fault. There was a lovely young man called Ivan who was staying and he tried to help out so he was fab. The staff were also very sweet.

Location, very nice clean beach. Next to hotel Sunset hotel, you pay for entrance 10$ and use sunbed. Also for this 10$ you can eat in restorant. The owner of hotel Dadi amazing person, very helpful. You feel safe with everything, he take care of guest as for own kids. Highly recommend Kendwa Daeli apartments!

Good location, good owner and helpful staff. Very clean, breakfast is not very big, but delicious. We was lucky and our flat second room was empty, we can be by ourself.

“Wonderful Place to Stay in Kendwa”

This was a wonderful find, and a great value. It was nice to stay in a quiet home away from the noise and commotion of the resorts on the beach. The view from my balcony was great, and sunsets over the sea were beautiful. The second floor apartment catches the breeze and stays cool (the air conditioning was rarely needed). The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. They are fluent in Italian, and also speak English. Maid service came every day, which is unusual for an apartment. It was nice to have a kitchen (shared with another room) to prepare the local fruits sold in the village. The beach (which is the nicest, or one of the nicest, in Zanzibar) is a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment, and local restaurants are only a few minutes walk from the apartment. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Zanzibar.

The room was very clean and spacious. Also the location in Kendwa is perfect, very close to the beach and many restaurants. The hosts are really friendly and helpful. We would definetly come back to Daeli Apartment!

Eliana and Dadi are amazing hosts, very helpful and attentive to your needs; Dadi even took us to the airport at 4.30 a.m. when our driver didn t show up. The room is cleaned every day, the bed is extremely comfortable, wifi works well and even has a safe. The location is great, 5-7 minutes to the beach, near restaurants and a supermarket.Hakuna Matata and hope to see you soon! :)

Nice apartment with amazing view from the balcony. Location was great, close to everything but still quiet. Hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Asante sana.
