“A great hotel was”

My experience of the hotel was really great. After arriving on the night train, the very friendly and helpful owner told me I could check in immediately. And, the next day when the weather was really cold and wet, she said I could stay until I needed to catch the train in the evening. She couldn't have been more helpful. All the facilities were great, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was excellent.. .

“Great brwakfast and hospitable personnel”

Staff was super friendly and lovely, helping out at the beginning when I had problem with my card payment and stressed out, receptionist offered us with coffee as a finnish way of hospitability and keeping us calm during that moment. Food was great, rich breakfast, we also payed extra for lunch menu, which was also delicious, cook also answered our questions about meals as we were very interested. We also enjoyed sauna!

The restaurant on the first floor is delicious. I highly recommend dining there. The hotel rooms are average, but it was super quiet and warm to sleep in.

’m not sure if it was officially allowed, but since my train arrived so early, I was kindly allowed to check in early and even have a light breakfast—such a nice gesture! The facilities were very comfortable, and the location was perfect. Kemijärvi is a small, walkable town, making it easy to reach the train station, the avanto (ice swimming spot), and the swimming pool. It has a friendly, authentic feel, with fewer tourists compared to other destinations. An unexpected bonus? I saw the best auroras I’ve witnessed in a long time while staying here!

They've prepared for us some vegan food for breakfast, that was really good. They also have one nice vegan meal in the restaurant :) Warm and quiet room. Three supermarkets are very close around.

Costume service perfect, Lotta was so lovely with us, and the rooms are such clean and quiet, the modern tv if you wanna use Netflix, there are many supermarkets around the hotel. It was incredible! Thanks Lotta!

Friendly receptionist. Good location, right next to a supermarket. Decent breakfast. Fridge (in room) and microwave (in corridor) are a must as the restaurant is not open in the evenings in September. Bar was open until late during weekends. Short walk from parking lot to rooms.
