“Never again would I stay here, nor recommend. The other hostel could teach this place much!”

Everything could and should have been better. The sixties are over. Time to move on and set the bar higher than coed sleeping, accepting dirty living conditions, ridiculous bathrooms, and leaving the safety of those guests to ffate with ridiculously unsafe building regarding fire potential.

It was definitely a back packers like a fruit pickers accommodation (low budget) had character. served our purpose of getting a good night sleep dorm room people were considerate

Had a wonderful stay, the staff were friendly and helpful, the other guests were also friendly and respectful. There were events set up by staff like Wings and billiards on Wednesday, movie night on Thursday. Had a great time!

I am very disappointed with this hostel. I booked a bed in a 4 dorm room. When I walked into the room, on my left there were dirty tissues, cough syrup a spoon and cereal. I should have left then. When I went to sleep (around 11pm.) I got woken up by my only roommate, he was screaming, I think he had a panic attack. He then stood up and started scratching his back with a pasta spoon, just centimeters from my bed. Then he went outside of the room with a spoon... After that he came back in the room and went to bed. 10 min later he got up again, completely dazed and started scratching his back again with the pasta spoon. He was clearly not in control of himself, so I felt unsafe and left at 2 am at night. In returned in the morning and talked to the receptionist. He wrote down my complaint and said he would talk to the manager. I didn't hear back so I called again. Also when I returned to the property in the morning there were multiple people sleeping around the common areas who had clearly been there since I left in the night. The manager did not apologize and didn't want to give a refund. He said that in the month that the roommate was there, that he didn't get any complaints? He also got frustrated and said that he would not accept BC-residents anymore. The hostel was very old, dirty and unwelcoming. I filed a complaint with booking.com. Please be aware before you stay there.

It was ok - just coffee and a pancake.

They took the money and didn't put me in the room, I don't advise anyone to book a room there.

I was only there for two nights but everything was great.

*When booking*, it should be stated that Canadians are not aloud to stay at the Hostel. Booking. Com was not a were of this fact. On the Hostels web site it was not clearly stated, and was accidently found the day of stay. The Hostel after several trys during the day did not answer their phone., I then contacted Booking.com.
