Lovely old statley home

“It was a lovely venue to celebrate a friend's birthday.”

The location was great as we had cars and could easily travel about. The property has been lovingly restored- even the vegetable garden has been restored to its former glory (although we were there out of season so didn't see it in bloom) We ate in our first night and the food was great. breakfasts also consistently good.

The house is the former home of one of the town's mill owners and it has been beautifully refurbished as a very grand home from home. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was spacious, well-equipped, very comfortable, elegant and stylish. The breakfast was superb. The whole experience was very positive and the owners have worked hard and thoughtfully to bring this gem up to date.

We wanted to stay in Keith - accomodation was well-situated. Nice comfortable room and bed, all clean & tidy. Lovely old house, parking outside, access to some of the grounds. Hosts were friendly, food was good. Relaxing evening.

You can't help but have a "Wow!" moment when you drive up to Isla Bank House. It is a beautiful old mansion, being lovingly restored to its original splendour by Nick and Vena, our hosts. And I can't say enough wonderful things about them! Vena and NIck are welcoming, professional, and just lovely people. They strike the perfect balance of hospitality and privacy. My husband and I felt both very looked-after and also privacy-respected. We decided to dine both nights at the House, and our meals were homemade, of very high quality and delicious. Our breakfasts (included) were equally as good. Our room was spacious and elegant, with plenty of room to keep our things. The bed was very comfortable, and our ensuite bath spacious and luxurious. Keith is lovely and we spent a lot of time walking around. It is helpful to remember that this is a guest house in a village, not a city hotel, just to set expectations.

Isla Bank House is a perfect place to stay at in Keith. Vena and Nick are great hosts providing you with excellent food and help for example with traveling advice. The nice building is just a few meters away from Strathisla distillary, a must see.

Just a fantastic experience. Gorgeous house, bedrooms are beautiful, VERY clean, extremely cosy. I particularly loved the stair case, so beautiful. wow... Very nice and welcoming owners, really good breakfast.

The accommodation, hosts, and food were all exceptional. The location was perfect for us. A quick walk from Scotrail, across from the Strathisla distillery and an easy walk to town and the Dram Tram!

A beautifully restored home in lovely gardens, this is a perfect location to explore the area. The hosts served up delicious meals along with local tips. Very much enjoyed our time even though it was short.

The house was charming, pretty and clean. Close to the train station, the distilleries and only a few minutes walk into the town, but still felt like a peaceful retreat on the manor grounds. The owners Nick and Vena were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Amazing food and bonus points for a great whisky selection.
