“Great value, warm and comfortable family stay”

Excellent value for money family break in a warm and comfortable 150 year old property. Ian met us to guide us to the property and was on-hand at check-out too. A lovely choice of groceries were provided along with the accommodation which was a nice touch. We all enjoyed the reclining sofas to chill out on during a cold February break stay. Nice garden view. Keith has good choice of independent shops.

Location and style of the house. Parking outside the house. Supermarket close by. The generous “Welcome” package that greeted us upon arrival. Yes the furniture and decor in the property were dated, but it was clean and very well equipped, spacious and felt very homely and relaxing.

The cottage was more spacious than we had imagined, with good sized rooms and good amenities, that all worked. Being able to park directly outside the front door throughout our stay made things easier as we had our dog. We managed to find plenty of different places to dog walk and my husband enjoyed his daily runs around the area. The cottage was very quiet considering it is located not far from the Chivas Distillery, the town centre, the Aberdeen/Inverness train and a light industrial area. If we were in the area again and looking for accomodation we would certainly try here first.

Lovely cottage very comfy, lovely garden. Mr and Mrs Donaldson are very helpful, good location close to the train station and bus stop, 10 min walk from the town center.
