“Better than the Blue Lagoon”

Very friendly and helpful hosts. The thermal pool in the back yard is definately a prime feature, alongside home made cookies and chocolates. Shops and Restaurants are close by. We enjoyed our stay very much. Bruno and Lily, Sydney

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Great communication and offering a wake up call if they see the aurora!! The decor just amazing! The little personal finishing touches second to non really makes your stay . Would highly recommend .

Andi and Yuki were so welcoming and friendly. Their lovely guesthouse is ideally located for the airport and travelling and was recommended to us by a family member. Lots of lovely local restaurants within walking distance. When in Iceland again we will definitely stay here

“Fantastic quirky guesthouse full of charm and care!”

Amazing quirky place to stay before flying out of Iceland. Hosts are so nice, friendly and attentive and have put so much care and effort into the decor. Beds are comfy, bathrooms are spacious, towels soft, lovely little sitting area and overall just a great place to stay. Host messaged to say the Northern Lights where above the garden, I leapt out of bed and got some pictures.... last night in Iceland, I was so grateful to get the message as we missed the lights every other night!!! thank you lovely 1x6 guesthouse!!

The hot pool is amazing, the host provides northern light alerts so we got to enjoy them while in the pool.

The hosts a lovely people. Made the stay very enjoyable and easy. There was great communication right from booking to leaving. The guesthouse is wonderfully presented and it felt so unique. The hot spring is amazing and toped off a wonderful hoilday.

The owners are so kind and nice, the breakfast was so great and the room was warm and cute, which gave us a very impressive image about Iceland, especially it's our first night in Iceland.

The place is super nice, we enjoyed it a lot! Very clean, beautiful design, and has a hot pool in the garden. Andi & Yuki are very nice hosts, was a pleasure meeting them! Highly recommend this place and hope to be back some day 🙂

Everything. Location was great for the airport and visiting the blue lagoon. Yuki and Andi were fabulous hosts, personal and accommodating, from booking time and all through our stay.

“Warm and special place to stay in Keflavik!”

This is such a special place! We found 1x6 when our flight was canceled due to heavy snow. What a gift this was! Everything from the host’s care and hospitality to the art in every corner to the kitty co-host was delightful. We enjoyed the hot pool at night and truly appreciated the knock on our door to come see the northern lights, which were thought we’d missed on this trip. Our homemade breakfast was fresh and made with care. We would stay here again and got a longer duration.

This was a great stay, the room/house was beautiful. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to enjoy the geothermal pool, but hopefully next time. Andi and Yuki were super kind, and make great coffee. I can only recommend their guesthouse. We got lucky, as we also saw the northern lights from the garden.

The place made late check in a possibility eapecially for me. The place made an early morning coffee for me at 5 am in the morning, and a verh interresting talk about the place.

I loved the entire experience of this hotel - which began from the moment I booked. The owners immediately sent an email with a welcome, options, and add-ons for my experience. The made everything from pick-up and drop-off, to meals, to scheduling at the blue lagoon so easy. I really appreciated it because it was a last minute business trip through a country I'm not familiar with so their graciousness and hospitality was a treat. There were also lots of little touches that made the place so sweet (I won't mention them here - check out the place for yourself). But one kindness that stayed with me is that I arrived on a cold, rainy evening in late May and Andi, one of the owners, drove me into town so that I could grab dinner before bed without fighting the weather.
