The family-run Blue Viking Studios is next to Keflavík Harbour and 3 km from Keflavík International Airport. It offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi and parking. “Great base for Keflavik.”
Rooms were big, with kitchen facilities. Great location right by museum and restaurant and the coast line. Loved the free lattes. Loved the food share. Any food you bought & didn't need you could share in the kitchen. Loved the recycle basket anything you no longer needed you could leave. We left a new t shirt that didn't fit our son & I grabbed a shampoo. Staff there were very helpful.

“Great little place to stay before beginning your trip or before flying out of Iceland!”
It was efficient for a one night stop from or to the airport. The last room we stayed in didn't have a wardrobe and some estethic issues, but we didn't really care, it was warm and clean and had all we needed to sleep in before our flight the next day.

The room I booked included breakfast, but a few days before check-in, the host sent me a message saying that guests are wasteful and therefore they would no longer provide breakfast. They also refused to refund the breakfast cost. This is extremely unreasonable and overbearing.
