Charming little house with a fantastic garden where you can chill among oranges, figs, pomegranate, olive trees, bugainvillas, of course, and many other plants and flowers. The house is small, but there is everything you need inside and it is modernly equipped and furnished. You will spend most of your time in the garden, nonetheless. Much better than renting a studio. The hosts (they do not stay there, don't worry) are super kind in a genuine manner and can advise you on beaches, restaurants, shops, activities and whatever you need, even a food delivery if you are tired and not in a mood to go out. Definitely a recommend and on my short list for this part of the island.

Everything! Our host Panagis is an amazing person, who was taking care of us every day and every hour :)

Casa da Bugainvillea is one of the most beautiful places where to stay in Kefalonia. The house is lovely, both outside and inside. It is spacious enough,very pretty decorated and has many comfortable details. It is absolutelly clean and the equipment is of a high quality. All the beds are comfortable. The kitchen has all you need and the view of the garden, Mount Ainos and the sea while prepairing your breakfast is amazing. But the most impressive is the magically beautiful garden around the house. It is full of olive, fig, lemon and palm trees and is georgeous in any hour, especially in the evenings. Last but not least, Panagis is an awesome host. He welcomed us with fresh fruits and tasty Greek sweets and he really cares of his guests. It was like staying by a good friend and we felt really welcomed. We will return for sure

“Cosy house in a big garden”

Cosy house on the top of a hill in Metaxata, 10 minutes ride from Argostoli, the capital city. It is in a nice, spacious villa area. The house is surrounded by a big garden, with orange, olive, bugainvillea, etc. trees. Panoramic view from the top of the house. The terrace is pleasently shady. The house is newly renovated, well equipped, with modern furnitures. It is comfortable for 2-3 persons. Some restaurants are nearby. Several nice beaches 10 minutes ride from the house (Avithos, Ai Helis, Eglina, Macri Gialis are our favourites). The owner is a very nice, friendly, helpful guy, he gave us several useful informations. The house is worth the price. We had great vacation there!
