Just off the main road with easy access this beautifully appointed property of individual lodges which can accommodate couples and family rooms was a wonderful stay for us. Our host greeted us and was very accommodating. Dinner and breakfast was beautifully cooked by a great team. This a must stop off en route to Fish river canyon.

Our stay at Cottage 51 Kitchen was absolutely exceptional from beginning to end. This place is truly a hidden gem in Namibia and one of the most beautiful and welcoming stays we have ever experienced. The cottage itself is decorated with so much love and attention to detail — every corner feels warm, stylish, and incredibly cozy. The bed was honestly one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in, which made it even harder to leave this wonderful place. The dinner was next level. Everything was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The chef is amazing and you can really taste the quality and passion in every dish. We especially loved the perfectly prepared lamb and chicken dishes — full of flavor, tender, and simply unforgettable. The fresh ingredients from the farm make such a difference, especially the delicious oranges grown on their own property, which were some of the best we have ever tasted. A very special thank you to Elisia and the whole team for their kindness and hospitality. Everyone made us feel so welcome and at home from the first moment. The owner, Hansl, was also such a warm and genuine host. He personally showed us around the farm, shared stories about the area, and took the time to show us the beautiful viewpoints around the property. The scenery is breathtaking. They have several incredible spots for sunrise and sunset, perfect for enjoying a sundowner while taking in the stunning 360-degree views over the landscape. It is peaceful, relaxing, and truly unforgettable. The location is also perfect for exploring southern Namibia. Within about 2–3 hours you can reach the Fish River Canyon area, and in around 3–4 hours you can visit Lüderitz, Keetmanshoop, or Mariental. It is an ideal base for discovering the surrounding highlights while enjoying a peaceful and luxurious stay in nature. We felt completely overwhelmed by the warmth, beauty, and hospitality of this special place.

Very kind personnel. It seems we were the only customers so it helps, but for sure the staff does a lot to make you feel welcomed. Rio is surprisingly good for the price. The dinner and breakfast were simple but very good and with large quantities. Nice backyard for a walk, booking or a 4x4 rapid excursion. Good wifi in the rooms.

Perfect location for our overnight stop on our way back to Namibia. Lovely dinner, aircon worked perfectly, seeing that it was 42C. The swimming pool was lovely too.

What a beautifull place. Near the Noordoewer border post. Friendly staff. Suprised us with a cooked supper for the two on New yearsday. A Welcoming Swimming pool to cool off after hot day on the road. Safe parking. Nice breakfast the next morning. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Everything was Modern and Clean, beds really comfy... Complementry Cold Bier Colddrink and water was a bonus in the room ... Lovely Restaurant area for Drinks or Booked Supper at the swimmingpool .. Braai area with boma just the right atmosfere under the stars, after a long day on the road with everething you need in the Kitchen for your braai ..
