“Exeptional hosts and campsites”

Canyon Farm Yard is by far the best camping site I’ve ever stayed on. The campsites are located far apart from each other so it’s very private. We’ve stayed at campsite 8, where there is a small dune close by, from which you have a great view at the sunset. It gets really hot around the fish river canyon but at canyon farm yard there is a pool to cool down. The hosts are the best hosts you can wish for. Such kind and caring people, you can really feel that they love what they are doing. When ever I’ll come back to Namibia I would definitely stay at their place. Thank you for the greatest two nights possible.

The whole experience was amazing. The owner was lovely, the property had an amazing vibe and the sunset was beautiful. The apple pie was also to die for. They also have cute little souvenir shop. Its also right by the road if you are just stopping by.

Well thought of campsite; private bathroom per campsite, no sharing; very nice hosts

This camp is an atraction of it self! There is so much fun thing to see just bz walking around the camp and we enjoed it very much! Each location also offers a lot of privacy as the camp is very spatious. The location is quite good as it is located between the fishriver canyon and the quiver tree forest. The owners were very nice and offered us great advice about where and when to go. They gave us a great tip about feeding of the cheetas which we wouldnt have kown about without them. They also gave us great tips about where to continue our path. The camp is very peacefull and a perfect place to observe the milkiway galaxy, sunrise and the sunset. While showing us around we even saw a Leopard that offered us great entertainment during the night! (This is ofcurse a joke. Or is it....? :D) Even if you are just passing by, we strongly suggest to stoping by at least for a coffee to meet the owners and their very artsy camp!

Liked the location and the hosts Wally & Meisie were so helpful & informative. They suggested we take the Orange River route around and it was spectacular.

Amazing campingplace & host! Got a very nice huge campingspot with warm water and the hosts were the best! Helped with our lost luggage and with travelplanning. Had the best Kudu meat there and it is amazing with how much detail they take of their farm! Great location for a daytrip to Fish River Canyon

A wonderful tranquil campsite in a great location for Fish River Canyon, it was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed! Wally and his wife were so wonderful and accommodating, they gave us great travel advice for the area, and made sure we felt comfortable. We stayed a second night when we weren’t planning to because of their hospitality!

“Memorable times !”

The yard is beautiful, fun to explore. The owners were so sweet and helpful. The sunset there is something else. The camp site provides a flush toilet (bring your own toilet paper), and a shared hot shower. There is no electrical point at the camp site or wifi - total disconnection. Great coffee too !

Heartfully and sincerely welcomed by hosts with a sense of humor. We benefited from their wise advice. Campsite in the middle of nowhere, extremely peaceful. All essential facilities are actively maintained. Great view.
