“Tranquil retreat in the mountains”
The hotel was well designed with many areas for people to escape and feel comfortable. The small drinks area where you could dip a coffee and admire the view was only one of a few. My room on the 10th floor had a dramatic view along the river and so felt myself being amongst the trees.

Was a great vibe, staff were super friendly and help us with our Japanese while speaking very good english. The food was great, we had breakfast included. Onsen was perfect each night after a day on the mountain. Was the perfect retreat to come home too each night. Rooms were huge, great views onto the river.

“A lovely retreat venue”
Front desk staff was very helpful in introducing hotel facilities and making us feel welcomed. Our room came with a view of the Yuze gorge and the multiple onsens had great views of the Yuze Gorge or the tranquil forest.

“Great Onsen Resort Hotel”
The staff were very attentive and helpful. We chose a bigger room, as we stayed five nights and there was plenty of space. Room was kept clean and tidy daily. Lounge with complementary alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks (except beer!) were available 3.00 to 9.00 pm. Although the hotel is large and fully occupied over the weekend, all facilities ran smoothly, including the breakfast and dinner buffets.

The calm, the hotel in itself, the onsen, the amazing food and warming staff. The rooms were amazingly big for Japan and the view was breathtaking. If you spend a few days it might be good to have a car.
