“Beautiful old hotel with delightful onsen and amazing food”
Beautiful old hotel with delightful onsen. We enjoyed daily bathing after ski days. The food was absolutely amazing - delicious kaiseki dinners and buffet breakfasts - and late night ramen! We were 2 families on a skiing roadtrip and we had the most lovely stay. The service was excellent. We couldn’t fault anything. We loved this hotel so much. We would highly recommend.

Staff st reception didnt speak english which i dont expect them to, but did have a translator so was easily able to communicate. Location is gotgeous but there is not a lot by way of shops once you get there. Onsen was lovely with an i side and an outside bath and a little sauna.

hotel stuff gave us a lot of helps on early check in and give us a ride to nearest bus station so we can go out to town to have dinner. the room is clean and big, the hot spring is good.
