Overview
This well-equipped 2-bedroom cottage is located on Lake Kitka, 30 minutes’ drive from Kuusamo. Cottage provides a private sauna and fireplace. Guests have free access a row boat on site. An electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher are featured in each kitchen at Ruka-Kitkan lomamajat. All have an open-plan living room with a dining table, seating area, as well as a TV and CD player. BBQ facilities and a children’s playground are available for guests to use on site. Ruka Ski Resort and the National Park Oulanka with its hanging bridges are both within a 15-minute drive. Other area activities include fishing, snowmobiling and skiing. The closest grocery store is in Käylä, 7 km away.

“You can definitely go back there!”
Perfect location to visit the surrounding national parks by car in 15-40 minutes. By the lake with swimming opportunities. The hut for 3 people is spacious, there is the necessary kitchen equipment, dishes. There is a sauna. A vast area outside the hut. Dog owners will appreciate. All the chances to have a nice time !

“Great holiday!”
Cottage was really nicely cleaned, it was quite spacious for us (2 people and one big dog), area is big (great for dogs) and good for relaxing! Near by was a small beach where we liked to visit to cool our doggy in the summer and a boat which you can go on :). Even though the cottages are close to the road, it wasnt at all disturbing.

“All good”
A very nice place to relax. Lots of space in the cottage and around the cottage. An ideal place for families with children. The cottage is clean and nice. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Close to Ruka and Pieni Karhunkierros. Good contact with the owner. I recommend

The surrounding was serene, peaceful and relaxing. The lake was good we did some boating and caught some perch. There is Sauna by the lake I guess that can be booked as well with additional cost. Overall very good stay.
