“you get what you pay for”
It's obvious that people smoke in the room and the smell was there. It's a 3 star, so I wasn't expecting flowers. Near the railway line, but quiet, not the nicest part of town, plenty massage parlours. That said, $55 and a quiet night beat the pod hotel. A 15min $2 trip gets you into Tokyo, so I would consider a little further out even and a little nicer next time. We live and learn

More friendlier staff, yes I understand Gaijin are not good but some of us Gaijin are well mannered and trustable enough. Your rooms are clean and quiet but what matters is how your staff interact with hotel guests. I recommend hotel UNO if you are single or solo travelling.
