“Fantastic experience”

Beautiful place to take a rest and enjoy the great surroundings. The diner was incredible! Soooo much food, so please be prepared! It’s gas 11 courses and one course had several servings. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very attentive and sweet!

Traditional Japanese ryokan literally 30 second walk from the train station. Meals were all inclusive. Lovely onsen with outlook over the forest.

This place brings you serenity from the moment you alight the train. In the 100m walk from the station your worries fade and the relaxing starts. The surroundings are contagiously calm, and then when you enter the venue all is sorted. A no-regret is the halfpension, this food was out of this world.

Very warm welcome from all the staff. We really lucky to have the private onsen experience and loved every minute of it. The traditional kaiseki dining experience was amazing. We were provided with yukatas to wear during our stay which made everything feel more relaxing and authentic. とても美味しい懐石料理の食事体験でした

“Just perfect”

Everything was perfect, from the moment we entered the Ryokan, we were taken care of. The Room was very nice with an amazing view into the beautiful garden. The Onsen also was very nice and hot. Food was great, we had a Kaiseki Dinner, which had some of the best food we've ever eaten. They even had amazing vegetarian options. The village around the Ryokan is also beautifully scenic, like out of a movie.

Well located place, cozy n quiet. Live like a local.... 11 course dinner and Jap breakfast blew me away....Indulge in the hot pool anytime we want... put on ur yukata...back to room n lay down in ur tatami. Really a good get away.

The service was amazing. Very friendly staff. The dinner and breakfast were both high quality. The onsen was very comfortable. The room was spacious, with nice Japanese design. I really appciate their attention to details. It's right next to a train station, so very easy to reach with suitcases. We had a lovely walk nearby, it fulfulled our wish to experience Japanese countryside.

Courtesy, kindness and professionality. An amazing place, the best ryokan we have been since we landed to Japan. Close to the train station, surrounded by mountains and extremely good food.

We only stayed for one night. The staff was very kind and welcoming, and we enjoyed a Kaiseki dinner, which was both beautiful and delicious :) Very conventionally placed close to station as well

ریوکان ساکت و آرام بدور از شلوغی شهر . بسیار نزدیک به ایستگاه قطار. مکان بسیار عالی بود. در ابتدا با چای سبز مورد استقبال قرار گرفتیم. اتاق ما رو باغ با حیاط اختصاصی بود. لباس و کیمونو در اختیار گذاشتن. استخر معدنی بسیار تمیز، تراس زیبا، شام بسیار خوشمزه و عالی بود. منظره جنگل خیلی خوب بود. صبح با صدای پرنده ها بیدار شدیم. امکان کرایه دوچرخه و ماجراجویی داشت. اگر دنبال عکس گرفتن اختصاصی و دونفره هستید حتما اینجا بیایید لوکیشن عکاسی بسیار خوبی دارد. توصیه میکنم برای یک شب هم شده اینجا بیایید ضرر نمیکنید.

Amazing stay at this traditional ryokan. Amami is a quiet, charming town with a few small shrines within walking distance. The food at Nanten-en was incredible, truly authentic Japanese cuisine. The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially Gary, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He knows a lot about the town and the ryokan and answered all our questions with great enthusiasm.
