Overview
Perched on a hill overlooking the Black Sea, Rai Hotel is located halfway between Balchik and Kavarna. The nearest sandy beach is just 50 metres away and all rooms have a sea view. Air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a TV and a spacious balcony are standard room facilities here. Some rooms include a kitchenette area with a refrigerator. From the outdoor pool, guests can take a view of the sea and Cape Kaliakra. Drinks and snacks from the bar are served on the poolside terrace. Bulgarian and international dishes are offered at the Rai’s restaurant. Breakfast is also available here and is buffet style. Probably the best accommodation option for a relaxing holiday. The hotel is in a very quiet zone, it has a big interior court and a swimming pool in a well tended garden. The apartment was spacious, equipped with a fridge and AC. The cleaning staff would clean every day. Relatively close to a nice beach.

The well maintained, large pool in peaceful garden setting overlooking the sea is the stand out feature. We also enjoyed the balcony with shade and sea views, the relaxing atmosphere, the Bulgarian retro feel, and friendly manager and staff. This is a small family type hotel with typical Bulgarian breakfast.

“Booked a room with sea view- didn’t receive it”
First - for the amount of money we paid I didn’t have high expectations, actually I had none. But we’ve booked a room with sea view and when we got there we received a different room which was far from clean and smelled like sewage. The pool was clean though! I would never go back!

The pool was clean and there weren’t too many people. At least you could relax around the pool because there’s not loud music to disturb you.

The location was super nice, near the seaside. The beach is not too far.
