“Nice hotel with friendly staff”
A nice clean hotel in a picturesque town with very friendly staff. The area is surrounded by hills and forests with plenty of walks to do in the area. The restaurant attached to the hotel provides traditional meals in a generous portion. A nice breakfast can also be had at the hotel.

“Charming and comfortable, in a great location with wonderful hosts!”
This hotel is full of character and is run by a wonderful husband and wife team. The facilities are clean and exceptionally well maintained. The continental breakfast is enjoyable and the dinner menu is uncomplicated, yet still offers a satisfying variety of options. The bar has plenty of choice from the tap or bottle. The village is very quiet and the local area is beautiful. If you are visiting on a motorcycle, you will find the outdoor parking quite safe (and in full view of the hotel) and a brilliant departure point for outstanding roads.

“This was a welcome retreat after a long hike.”
Very helpful owners with a lovely atmosphere. Lots of quirky little details on the walls. Great food and suggestions for some different juices to try.

It’s a cozy / old school hotel in a beautiful location, excellent as a starting point for hiking in the area. The owners were friendly, the room was clean and good value, and the restaurant had a nice selection of local and Belgian beers.

“Friendly hosts add to the setting”
Wonderful friendly hosts. Beautiful hotel in lovely quiet area. Even quieter my weekend there as maintenance meant the train closed down. Room small but functional, spotlessly clean. Good robust shower. May be a limited choice of evening meals but the 2 I had were delicious especially the steak. Breakfast was also very nice. After 5 days of travelling from town to city to town those 2 peaceful days in a gorgeous setting where just the tonic

“Quiet, friendly hotel with great food and a perfect base for exploring.”
Friendly Dutch hosts with friends in high places that arranged the sun to come out for me. Wonderful evening meal and a lovely breakfast. It was my second visit on a motorcycle, plenty of parking in the car park outside. This is a rural spot, quiet and a great base for hiking of motorcycle touring. Felt welcomed.

Affordable public transport makes it easy to go out, explore the country and stay at beautiful properties. Very pleased with this choice and I hope to visit the property again.. Regards to the helpful management and employees.

Had this hotel just for one night walking the escapardenne trail. The room was fine and pretty big. The owners are nice people and they even speak Dutch.
