Staying at Elephant Home isn't just about spending the night facing the national park, it's about discovering a community and supporting the amazing work they have done in the previous years. Parts of the benefits go to a school and to planting trees, they have now planted 700.000 trees! ( Ok it's also about the enjoying the delicious food prepared by Yason ( formerly a chief cook ) and Kosmas ! :p ) Just stay a few days there and go for a nature walk and community walks, cruise on the Kazinga channel... countless activities are at reach !

“Amazing Green Place with the Most Amazing Staff”

Everything. Such a magnificent place with a beautiful garden, maze, and forest setup. Food was delicious and prepared according to the request. Room was big and bed was comfortabl. Location is close to the city. 10 mins from QENP entrance. Staff including the manager were phenomenal. Very friendly; accommodating, and humble. They even took care of extra requests I had (related to a rental car so not relevant to their business at all). I can't thank and recommend this place enough. Please stay there as it is affordable, friendly, and very beautiful.

The staff was exceptional, super helpful. Highly recommend the walk to the hill overlooking the area.

Rooms are simple but functional. There was no electricity other than the solar power to operate the lights. Hot water is available on request by bucket. Staff are warm, welcoming and attentive. No frills but definitely a good cause to support if you can. Run by a very committed and passionate Yasoni, this project is dedicated to raising the educational and vocational standards of the local people and children. Classes and training take place on site and the trips, tours, and funds raised by accommodation are ploughed back into the project. Recommended.

The garden was really nice and the staff was super friendly!

The staff genuinely endeavoured to do their best to make the stay pleasant and comfortable. Great effort from them. however, the facility is vdery basic and does not really meet the standard of the photographs, and for the price charged, it is expensive!

The Elephant Home is focused on sustainabiliy, if you look for high comfort mainly, then you're wrong here. It's much more about being close to nature and the local comunity. The food ( we could choode between a couple of dishes) here was delicious and the stuff was just great.

Very friendly community place with attentive employees and great food. Rooms are big and restaurant is a nice and cosy place with a campfire.

“Cosy place close to the QENP entrance”

We booked this only 2 hours in advance, but we were very happy we did. Our room was spacious, with decent nets and a comfortable bathroom. The view from the restaurant on the park is also very beautiful. As a bonus, this lodge is a community project: it is owned and runned by the local community.
