Beautiful traditional Japanese style rooms with a view overlooking the bay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had a free shuttle bus service to and from the station which was great. Dinner and breakfast was delicious and filling. The onsen overlooking the bay is wonderful!

This hotel was one of the unexpected gems of my 3 weeks in Japan. The view from my room was a million dollar view at an affordable price. The room was spacious, the facilities were good and the hotel staff were friendly. Plenty of free on-site parking available. The hotel's public bath was large, clean and had a nice view into a large fish tank. The hotel was able to provide a vegan breakfast with prior request with was very satisfying and had great variety of fresh and cooked dishes.

Nothing bad to say about this amazing place if you have a few days to spend in this area after doing the kamano kodo do yourself a favour and check in here for a lovely visit. The outside on sale is truly spectacular. The only thing that you have to bear in mine is a little out of town so don’t forget to organise the shuttle bus that they provide for you to collect you from the bus station and to drop you off. They are truly fantastic. The staff are amazing and the food is phenomenal couldn’t recommend this place more.

“Hidden gem”

Oldfasion Japanese hotel, with amazing out-side onsen, spendid views for the bay and so polite and kind staff. It is a hidden gem. Rooms are huge, futons are very comfortable and bedding is like a fluffy cloud. I will definitely come back here someday.

Completely empty hotel, feels like there has not been any maintenance or cleaning for the last couple of years. Our room was really dirty, tatami was super thin and room was full of mosquitos. Don’t recommend

A nice onsen is the only positive in the hotel.

This hotel has a traditional Japanese decoration with a beautiful view from the room and a good room size. Unfortunately, I forgot to book breakfast in advance — I’d recommend doing so ahead of time.

The location was beau and so quiet. It was a short walk into town. We ate at the hotel for two of the nights and it was wonderful. We loved the outdoor Onsen. The rooms were clean and very authentic. As other reviewers have said it’s an older property but so comfortable and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again.
