Location, cleanliness, comfort, politeness of staff, onsen, ample and free parking, plus the short walk to the canal. Breakfast was ok and could improve with more condiments/side dishes to accompany the rice. Will stay again if coming to Sawara.

“Great place to stay to see Sawara”
Once you’re out of Tokyo, the room sizes become a little larger and the prices even more reasonable. This place has a nice indoor onsen, nice room and walking distance to the little Edo area.

Hotel staff are very friendly and respectful. The rooms are just what you need. Everything is clean and the hotel breakfast was amazing. Even with the language barrier the staff did their best and I highly recommend coming to stay here !

Location was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable - we slept very soundly. Free flow coffee was welcomed and buffet breakfast was very good. Onsen was nice and relaxing. Easy parking.

“Perfect stay in a clean model hotel”
Excellent location for the train station, room clean bright and modem and helpful staff. On site Onsen. It was an easy walk into the old heritage part of the town and there are plenty of eating option (but check opening times). It’s a cute town.

The staff were very friendly and even gave us a gift upon arrival. The location is a fantastic central point for seeing Sawara. The morning buffet is one of the best I've seen I. Japan, with many local and special dishes from around Japan.

“Excellent stay with very nice price”
Really nice staff - they patiently welcomed me despite the language barrier (I speak only basic Japanese and rely heavily on online translator). The location is amazing - it's literally next to the station and impossible to miss after you step out of the train. The onsen is clean and nice. The TV in the room shows accurate crowd info about onsen, washing machines, and the restaurant. Their washing machines are the best - detergent is provided automatically (no need to bring yours), and clothes are dried automatically & properly.

“Peaceful and economical stay in Japan near to Narita Airport.”
Breakfast was wonderful with variety and well-cooked by dedicated chefs - a bonus for the economical rate charged for the room with breakfast. Rooms were clean and furnished with great toiletries and good quality towels. Location is perfect for a short drive to Narita Airport and the Katori-Sawara town is really perfect for Edo period exploration.

Being so close to the train station was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious and gave us a great start to each day. The room was very clean and comfortable. We aLSL enjoyed being able to explore the town and find interesting points of interest so close-by.
