Situated within an Art Deco heritage-listed building, YHA Blue Mountains Katoomba offers a range of rooms, a BBQ area, a games room and an impressive former ballroom with a cosy fireplace. The property is just 700 metres from Katoomba Train Station. All rooms include free onsite parking. YHA Blue Mountains Katoomba is 20 minutes’ walk from the famous Three Sisters and Katoomba Scenic World Railway. Katoomba Golf Course is a 5-minute drive away. Accommodation options include multi-share or private en suite double and twin rooms and family en suite rooms. The tour desk can arrange local activities including abseiling, mountain biking and horse riding. YHA Blue Mountains Katoomba also offers a communal kitchen.

Beautiful old hotel style facilities, the dining room, outside balconies and lounge room invite you to stay. Exceptionally clean kitchen and common areas. This place is like a good hotel with shared rooms.

Overall facilities like the lobby, dining/work area, kitchen, parking space , location etc. have been exceptionally good. Breakfast has also been good. Definitely a value for money facility

“Simple and cheerful backpackers located in the heart of Katoomba”
Staff are excellent, very helpful. Stayed here on the eve of my UTA run which was super helpful as our shuttle stopped right outside the front door. No frills, no fuss backpackers. Facilities are well kept and clean, lots of common area space, decent amount of parking spots at the back of the building. For a $7 fee they also let me have a shower after my UTA race which was amazing as I had returned after check out time - so I was able to have a nice hot shower and freshen up before my drive home.

I feel itchy the whole night, the heater not working, there’s a tv but can’t use coz it’s up in the ceiling and it’s not plugged in. Too noisy with all other occupants at night.

“Nice and cosy place”
The location is great! Locker provided in share rooms plus own plugs to charge your stuff. Hot shower and bathrooms were cleans every time i went in. Also free on site parking.
