Overview
Just 200 metres from Echo Point and the Three Sisters viewing platform, Echo Point Discovery Motel offers heated rooms with a 32-inch flat-screen TV. Guests enjoy access to BBQ facilities and free parking. Echo Point Discovery Motel Katoomba is just 5 minutes’ walk from the world-famous Blue Mountains National Park. The Scenic Railway and Katoomba Railway Station are both a 5-minute drive away. Restaurants and cafés are within a 5-minute walk. Each room has a work desk, a refrigerator, an electric kettle and a microwave. All rooms include electric blankets and a bathroom with a hairdryer. The tour desk can help guests book ‘bush walking’ (hiking) tours, and trips to the Jenolan Caves. The inn also offers a guest laundry and an internet kiosk. A continental breakfast is available. Dear Guests, Echo Point Discovery Motel is finally receiving a well earned refurbishment. Over the next 2 months there will be fluctuating construction noise between the hours of 9am - 3pm Monday - Friday. We would like to thank you in advance for patience during this time and we look forward to providing our new guest rooms in April 2023.

“Easy instructions for check-in, good location”
We stayed for one night in a Garden View Queen Plus One room as a family of three and had a very pleasant experience. Parking was easy, and we really appreciated arriving to a warm, comfortable room, especially with the temperature outside being only 10°C. The room was clean, the vending machines in the car park were a handy bonus, and the location was excellent—just a short walk to Echo Point Lookout and a quick drive to the main street. We would happily stay here again.
