Overview
This family run hotel enjoys a hillside location, 1 km from the Thermal Baths of Pozar. It offers a pool with massage jets, a lobby bar with fireplace and luxurious rooms with mountain views. Athina’s guest rooms are styled either with contemporary or traditional décor. Some rooms come with hydromassage shower cabin, while each features a flat-screen TV and heating/air conditioning. Most rooms also feature a fireplace. Hotel Athina is perfectly situated for walks in Edessa (30 km), or skiing at Vorras Ski Centre, and shopping at Aridaia.

“Good accomodation for Pozar!”
Very friendly staff. The hotel has sort of a retro charme. It's well situated there's only a 10 minute walk towards the thermal baths. The breakfast includes the typical greek snacks. Very comfy. Highly recommended!

Everything was excellent, clean, near to all amenities, and a quiet and peaceful place to "charge your batteries." The pool was clean and big enough to enjoy with a view of the mountain.

The hotel is nice, clean and cozy, unfortunately pool wasn’t open yet at the time we been. There’s a 15 minute walk to the entrance of the thermal baths which was pretty great. The location is peaceful. Definitely would recommend!

“Nice and calm”
The room was clean and with great view. It is close to the famous spring. Just in front there is a great coffee shop.

The breakfast was simple but very well made, homely and fresh. All the staff were AMAZING and very eager to accommodate our whichever request. The view from our room was superb, and I think I have never been to a cleaner bathroom/jacuzzi/balcony

The rooms are spacious but very basic and the public spaces are really shabby considering that it is considered a 4-star hotel.

We stayed off season in Hotel Athina for a night and that was the perfect luxurious end to our road trip. The staff was awesome and forthcoming regarding our check in/out time, there is parking available for guests and it was not only spacious and clean but also cozy and warm. The beds were the best we slept on during our whole stay and you can just not beat the view and scenery.

Wonderful location with a spectacular view! Cristal clean and cozy room! In addition in their bed i had the sleep of my life!! Extremely polite stuff and very helpful towards us! Average breakfast..they could have wider variety. Other than that excellent!!!

“a relaxing break in Pozar”
the location was perfect, near restaurants, coffee shop opposite and close to the thermal baths. The views from the balcony were amazing. The room was immediately clean and we had good breakfast every morning.
