The location was perfect for us. Only a 5 minute walk to a lovely beach. Near enough to the town on foot. The food and drinks available were very tasty and reasonably priced. The pool is beautiful although i found the temp a little colder than expected maybe due to it being shaded a lot by the building. Theos is a stunning and very welcoming place to stay. Really enjoyed it.

Clean, spacious studio. The pool area was small but there were always free sun loungers. The family owning the place was so welcoming - they went the extra mile to make the stay pleasant. They also operate a small restaurant on premises - everything was tasty and reasonably priced.

“Great place”

We enjoyed our stay in Theos thanks to the friendly owners and staff and the relaxing atmosphere of the location in general. Our room was on the ground floor facing the garden and we loved using our veranda in the morning for coffee. Everything in the room was either new or refurbished, so it had a modern vibe to it. The kitchen amenities were more than enough for our needs. We asked the owners for coffee, beach and trip recommendations which they were happy to help with. We even used an umbrella for the beach from them, since they have a bunch in storage. I would also like to add that the nearby beaches are absolutely great - so even if you don't have the time to visit the most famous beaches in Crete, you can sure enjoy the two small beaches just west of Golden Beach on Chania.

Lovely family run accommodation . Daily cleaning by lovely cleaners . The family were very welcoming and helpful with information for day trips etc. We only ate at the property once but the food was lovely and we often saw other residents eating regularly. The property is in a good location for the main road with frequent buses to Chania . Lovely beach about 10 minutes easy walk and more beaches walkable from there.

Can highly recommend this family run small complex. Family always around to help if needed and are really friendly. Everywhere kept spotlessly clean, room cleaned to high standard and towels changed everyday apart from Sunday. Beach towels are available free from reception. Restaurant open from 8am to 7pm daily serves good, reasonably priced food. Bar is open till midnight and does great cocktails (Happy hour from 3-5pm and 9-10pm daily). Even provided a room to shower and change before going to airport for return flight to UK! There is a supermarket and a great bakery that does fab ice creams, milkshakes and coffee as well as fresh bread and delicious cakes, 2 mins walk. Lidl and larger supermarket are around 10 - 15 mins walk away. 5 - 10 minutes walk from nearest clean, sandy beach, lovely clear sea. Nearest bus stop into Chania is a couple of minutes walk from the apartments - fare each way is only €1.20 if you buy tickets from supermarket. Well worth a visit to the old town and Venetian harbour. Would definitely stay here again when next holidaying in Crete.

“Friendly family-run hotel with everything you need for a great holiday!”

We were welcomed by the friendly family that run the hotel. Dimitri, Yioda, Michael and Alex greeted us warmly and helped to make our stay a memorable experience. The room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Fresh towels and linens were supplied throughout. The pool area was clean and tidy. The bar was open and the food was freshly made. Parking wasn’t a problem as you could park right outside the hotel. The location was within walking distance to the local beaches, there were 4 to choose from. Choice of supermarkets and tavernas nearby.

“Super séjour 👍😍”

I spent 14 truly enjoyable days at Theos Village. It's hard to beat the welcome and kindness of the owners and staff. A quiet location, 3-400m from the beach, supermarket, and restaurants, and 100m from the bus stop to Chania (4km) or Platanias (7km). Rooms with balconies or small terraces; very clean, with kitchenettes, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. There's also a pool near the reception/bar/restaurant where you can relax with an ouzo or other beverage and enjoy your vacation. I sincerely recommend this place. Thank you to all the staff.

“Great family run hotel!”

Nice hotel with really friendly people. Decent location with bus stop nearby to get into Chania, but a bit too far to walk in the heat. Really nice beach nearby about 10 - 15 mins walk. What's really nice is that there is somewhere you can shower after you checkout if your flight is late at night, and they kept our luggage safe while we spent our check out day at the beach. There are some very friendly cats there too!

The property was very clean and spacious. The cleaners came most day to provide us with fresh towels. We enjoyed sitting out on our spacious balcony to enjoy the views of the mountains/ pool and town. The apartment also including everything we needed to make ourselves some lunch and keep our food fresh in the fridge.

“Lovely stay”

This is a cozy hotel run by a lovely family. From the moment we entered, we felt well taken care of, everyone was very nice. The hotel has everything we needed, including a kitchenette in the room, restaurant, the pool is wonderful. The rooms are cleaned daily, the cleaning ladies are lovely and do an excellent job. The hotel is very well located, just a few minutes from the bus stop, which takes you to the center of Chania in 15 minutes. Nice beaches are about 15 minutes walking distance. This was my fourth time in Crete at this location, it’s great point to explore the island. Around hotel there are several super markets and car rental companies. We surely will be back. Until then, please take care of the cats who are staying there, especially the mother and her kitten 😽
