The staff are amazing! Very friendly, really make the place feel like home. The location is great, very near the beach and near a big supermarket, great for self-catering. The room (actually, a little flat with two rooms and a balcony!) is spacious and lovely. The food at the hotel restaurant is great, the pool is nice and clean. The photos on booking.com do not do this place justice, it is much nicer in real life. Great value for money.

We had such a wonderful stay at Jechrina. Jerry and Veronica made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, nothing was ever too much trouble. The food at the restaurant, cooked by Mama, was second to none, truly the best we had during our stay in Crete. Such a homely, friendly hotel with amazing people who make you feel like part of the family. We will definitely be back! Amanda and Joe.

“A cosy, friendly gem!”

The main advantage of this hotel is, first and foremost, the staff! Excellent, unobtrusive hospitality and friendliness! The room is on the second floor, large, spacious with a comfortable balcony, a small kitchen, and a well-placed air conditioner. The room has a great bed and pillows! I haven't slept so well in a long time! Most rooms face east, so it doesn't get hot in the evening. The morning sun wasn't a problem either. The room was cleaned very well, despite the fact that sand from the beach is a problem. The balcony offers a view of the mountains and a bit of the sea. The pool is a comfortable shape with a fenced-off section for the little ones. The pool is cleaned every evening. The food in the hotel restaurant is very tasty and affordable. There are many visitors in the evenings. There is also a good restaurant nearby if you suddenly want some variety. There is also a coffee shop with excellent coffee and pastries. Next to it is a shop selling food, drinks, and beach accessories. The nearest beach is a five-minute walk away. The second closest beach is 10-15 minutes away. There is private parking. The old town of Chania can be reached by bus or car in a reasonable amount of time. It takes 1.5 hours by car to reach Elafonisi Beach, and only 35 minutes to reach Kissamos Port, from where you can travel to Balos Island.

A well-located and well-equipped apartment near a stunning beach. The hosts are caring and helpful, and the room service is very attentive. Bus stops, tennis clubs, and shops are all conveniently close. There's also a pleasant restaurant

“Lovely stay”

We had a lovely stay at this place! 🤍 Yanna was incredibly kind and gentle — you can really feel that she puts her heart into making guests feel comfortable and at home. Gerry brought such a positive energy to our experience; always funny, friendly, and full of life. The entire stuff was very nice and always available if we needed anyting. Everyting was clean and well taken care of. The accomodation is in a very good location - 5 minutes walking to the beach and one minute from the bus station. Grocery stores, coffee shop and restaurants were also nearby. The pool was perfect, clean, and the food from the restaurant was very good. We would absolutely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and uplifting stay!

“2 weeks in Chania”

We couldn't have wished for better accommodation and hosts. Thanks to Yianni, Jerry, Veronica and the family for making our stay not only memorable but one where we felt part of the family. The room was spacious, lovely and clean. The maid did a great job too. Every meal we had at the Piata restaurant adjoining the hotel was home cooked and amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Pool side was lovely and we could always get a bed and umbrella. My wife fell in love with a small family of cats which lived in a corner of the gardens. The location is excellent for the shops and beach and other restaurants. It's on a main road where you can catch a bus to Chania town centre (every 30 mins) and the Fun little land train journeys. Beaches in this area are fantastic with amazing sunset views.

“Perfect stay”

Everything was great! Lovely owners, very nice room. Everything is super clean. Restaurant on site. Away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough if needed. Bus stop is not far. Beach is very close by too. We had a great time! Such a great value. Would definitely come back.
