“Excellent”

We could not have a better stay during our vacation. We have met the most friendly and helpful hosts. We have been greeted with delicious home made meals, sweets, bottle of raki and a bowl of fruit salat- what a start of the holiday. The apartment is really spacious and has four balconies . Due to ist location we were having breakfast , lunch and dinner on a different one and there was a special place for the afternoon drinks as well. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. The apartment is furnished with taste and it shows that the hosts like the small details. The hosts were really open hearted people and they were helping us and always asking if we need something. One evening we got a plate with different Greek home made dishes- you do not get those in the restaurants. I still need to get one recipe :) The beach - it is only 5 min walk , simply amazing.

“Perfect family holidays”

We loved everything about Glaros Home and felt "at home" few day after we arrived. It is perfect place to spend time with a family on Crete if you like to have some space for each family member. Many thanks to the owners for very warm welcome and the support they offered - hope we will meet again in near future!

Really big apartment, many terraces, very well equipped, nice garden, place where you can park the car. Really great host :) . Very good location, close to the sea (nice sandy beach), close to the bus stop, mini market etc.

a lovely house

we liked everything about our stay at Glaros Home, starting with a fantastic location and how close it was to multiple beaches, restaurants and shops but also very peaceful and quiet at night. It's a very spacious apartment, you can sit and relax/eat breakfast at one of many terraces during the day, the garden surrounding it is beautiful (we saw geckos and hedgehogs at night!), the apartment itself has all the needed amenities and is well-kept and clean, the shower has very good water pressure as well (not always obvious and not always the case), the kitchen is well-equipped too - all the things needed to make our stay as a group of five people very pleasant. The owner, Elias, made sure everything worked okay, we were greeted with some traditional Greek snack and drink, which was very kind. there's a place to park your car on the property too, which is important if you're planning roadtrips like we did. Overall, we had a great time at Glaros Home and would definitely come back!

Our stay at Glaros Home exceeded our expectations. Ilias and Mania hospitality was very appreciated and made our time in Creta amazing. The apartament was impeccably clean and with everything you need.Very peacefull location with a spectacular view. It was a wonderful experience all in all, and I would absolutely recommend this place!

“Stunning base for exploring Western Crete. Perfect!”

What a fantastic place to stay and it exceded all our expectations. Very spacious and well eqipped inside with balconies having beautiful views of the mountains, the sea and the local town, the big L shaped balcony gets the sun all day. Literally 5 minutes to the beach. We used this as a base for touring in our hire car. Chania only 15 minutes away. Really recommend Lake Agias which is right on the doorstep, it's beautiful with lots of wildlife and some lovely places to eat. The hosts were lovely and very friendly, baking local food and giving us a bottle of Raki on our arrival, also giving us fruit picked from the garden and bread from the local market during our stay, they were really, really nice people. We've just had a week of paradise and would recommend this appartment to anyone.

“Well styled spacious amazing flat with 3 terraces”

We stayed 4 of us adults for one week - my parents and two brothers. Great massive spacious nicely-styled top-floor apartments with 2 bedrooms and up to 6 people possible to sleep, very spacious big terrace to sit outside throughout the day - the terrace is L-shaped, so there is always shade from the sun if wanted on one or the other side. There are also 2 other terraces - one for each bedroom! Good views as well - you can see some of the sea, mountains and local greenery, beautiful garden around the house too! Flat gets a lot of morning sunshine through the windows when curtains are open - really nice to wake up to it. The kitchen has most of the kitchenware, just enough for simpler meals, but we did not cook dinner and always wined& dined in the restaurants. There is a washing machine, iron, hair dryer, air conditioners both in bedrooms and living area etc - so quite well equipped flat. There is also a car parking spot on-premises. The hosts are really positive people who welcomed us with their own made traditional Cretan lunch snacks! Which was perfect timing since we arrived around noon after an early flight. Yummy!:) The flat itself is well located - just 5 minutes down hill to the really nice sandy beach, restaurants and supermarket is really close too. Great location for exploring west side of Crete! Getting downtown to Chania takes just 12-15min when driving - we were going there every evening to have dinner and explore. Only 32 minutes of driving to Kissamos port to take Balos Lagoon/Gramvousa boat daytrip - highly recommended! My only regret is we should have stayed for 2 weeks and explored more than we did. Would stay again - thank you for everything:)

“Unique”

My stay in Glaros home has been an unforgettable experience. Wonderful location very near the sea. The beach is very nice with white sand and beautiful scenery. The house is very clean and pleasant situated in a wonderful garden. The landlords are very open and hospitable. The area offers a variety of restaurants and cafes for all tastes. You can choose to live in solitude near the nature, or to go out and have fun. I really recommend it.
