Staff were fantastic - food was home cooked and delicious - this place has had a renovation since lots of the photos were taken and in no way deserves some of their more negative reviews. Spectacular little place. Would 100% stay again.

“Best place on our trip”
The accomodation is not cheap, but very good. Definitely the best place to stay on our trip. All staff are very friendly. It was nice and intersting to talk with them. The location directly at the river is great. There are a lot of sitting areas directly at the river. We had been in contact with Brenda already long time before our arrival.

“Only stayed 1 night as a stop over to break up long journey, wished we could have stayed for longer.”
We were the only people staying at the lodge, had a great trip on the river and a super dinner cooked for us.

“Beautiful & comfortable”
Very beautifully situated lodge on the Zambezi: well-kept grounds, beautiful garden, nice, courteous service. Boat trips on the river are offered (thanks to Daniel!). We stayed there for three nights and relaxed well, feeling very comfortable (with delicious dinners).

Successful stay! The welcome by the owners was warm and professional! The staff is very very friendly, competent and helpful. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The food in the restaurant is very very good! Our compliments to the chef who cooked us a very delicious 3-course menu that evening! The rooms are very clean, the staff does a great job here too. Internet is fast and stable. Air conditioning in the room and clean an well maintained.
