I just loved everything about the place. The manager Mr.Bibek was a very friendly guy who gave us a proper tour of the place and gave us a rundown about how things work and where they are. I especially loved the terrace area and the gazebo there. The Nepali style water fountain was a delight to listen to and look at. My husband and i both drank some wine there, listening to the serene sound of water flowing, felt like we were aside a river. Along with the cctv cameras and codes/ card locked doors, seems there is a guard on the premises 24/7 so we didnt have to worry about safety. The gym upstairs was a good addition as I got a chance to catch up on my workout being missed while travelling. The jacuzzi after workout was a cherry on top!

The owners of the residence failed to mention that a huge construction site was in operation day and night (infernal noise until 3am). As it stands, the residence is unoccupiable. They told me that they had tried unsuccessfully to get the contractors to work at more reasonable hours. In that case they should have refrained from renting out their home until the work was finished. This is all the more dishonest given that the owners' family occupied the premises when they were not being let and were therefore fully aware of the situation. They asked me to be paid in cash from the first day, so I couldn't cancel the rental or get my money back. Not only did I not receive the slightest help or apology from the owner in the face of this situation, but they also charged me USD 25/day, which was not indicated on the website, for cleaning costs, knowing that this rate in Nepal is totally prohibitive for three hours' work by a housekeeper. To top it all off, I was unpleasantly surprised to find a member of the owner's family inside the residence where he had entered without my permission and without apologising. Definitely not worth booking!
