“The Manager Raj and staff, FANTASTIC!”
Raj, the Manager, ABSOLUTELY amazing, nothing a problem for him! Very quick and clear answers via Whatsapp, Staff, always happy and ready to help. I did not eat at the hotel, so cannot comment. The room was very good in the "old wing of the hotel". Then, was allowed to stay in their new wing of the hotel, EXCELLENT! Location, was great. 12 minutes walk to Kathmandu Durbar square. Hotel on a side street in Thamel and quiet, but turn off the side street and onto the main street, for eveything!

“Seriously like staying at mums house! Comfy, clean and homely”
Wow! Photos don’t do justice of how nice and comfortable this hotel is. We had been staying in a terrible accomodation prior so we had no expectations but this was like entering a 5 star hotel in comparison. We are in the king room and it is all brand new, the bed is the comfiest bed we have been in since our 1+ years of being on the road. The food is absolutely delicious we have ordered almost all the menu. The room is really big in size, nice and light and clean. The staff have all been so accomodating and kind to us, I had trouble with my phone and the staff were so helpful in assisting me and finding a solution. We are now staying for an extra 5 nights as our visa didn’t come through for India and are really happy to be here to wait it out. Also really cool rooftop with full city view for sunset.

“Excellent”
The room was spacious and very clean. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was really lovely and had a bath as well as a shower. Location was down a nice quiet alley so away from the craziness of Kathmandu. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to our every need. Would recommend this hotel anytime!

Five Star Service from a 3 Star Hotel ❤️ We stayed at Hotel Mums Home, Kathmandu from 27th to 29th December, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the stay was comfortable throughout. The staff were courteous, friendly, and highly professional, always ready to help with a smile. A special mention goes to Sangham, who was absolutely wonderful — extremely helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring. His support made our stay even more pleasant and memorable. The manager and the receptionist were also extremely polite and genuinely caring. The location is convenient, the service is excellent, and the hospitality truly makes you feel at home. Food was tasty. I would highly recommend Hotel Mums Home to anyone visiting Kathmandu and would definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you very much for looking after us!

“We enjoy every moment”
The team, led by Raz the manager, is amazing and kind. There wasn’t a single small or big thing we asked for that they didn’t help us with wholeheartedly. The place looks exactly like the pictures, it’s clean, and you can feel the care and attention in every detail. Hot water, comfortable beds—everything was perfect!
