“Excellent and modern small hotel in a great location”
This is a great little hotel and superb value for money. The rooms are big, well equipped, and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of hot water and good size bathroom. Breakfast on the rooftop every day was a nice experience.

“Great experience! Will recommend to others”
Well located with plenty of eateries around. Tucked in alley away from busy main street. Room is well equipped with kettle, fridge and beverages. Love the balcony! Hotel staff, Brijesh, was particularly helpful especially helping with communications with my motorcycle vendor; updating me on status of Prithvi highway blockages; holding room with balcony on my second visit; and many other things. Outstanding customer service!

Room was really clean and well equipped which is rare for Kathmandu . The room was very spacious with a nice balcony. Very good value for money. I will definitely stay again when in Kathmandu

“Great place in Thamel”
The location is perfect: it is in noisy Thamel but in a quiet street. The staff is very friendly and helpful(special thanks to Preakchya). I liked to have breakfast on the rooftop. My room was very big, with comfortable beds and pillows. They provided bottled water everyday and the breakfast was good.

I really like the room; comfortable with everything that you need. The best things about the hotel is the workers. I am beyond greatful for the workers in the lobby, the cleaners and the ones helping with the breakfast on the roof. One of the workers named Preakchya was so kind and helpful and she cared for everything I needed and more!

“Epic beds and breakfast”
Great hotel and value for money in the heart of thamel but on a quiet street. Lovely breakfast and service. Comfiest beds we stayed in Nepal. Hot water 24hrs (a luxury).

many thx for the nice stay at your hotel. clean room, hot water, and a good quiet place to stay. even wifi was good. you took care of me, and the day trip with Buddah to all the temples were very exciting, can only recommend that to all. “Home in Kathmandu”
Enjoyed a fantastic 2-night stay at Himalayan Ghar. The staff was exceptionally friendly, ensuring a warm welcome. Mr. Devandra helped with our special needs. The room was spotlessly clean, and the rooftop was a highlight, offering stunning views. Highly recommend for a pleasant and comfortable stay!
