“Amazing place and people”

Everything is amazing

It must be my 5th stay here. Twice on this trip and 3 times in 2022. It felt like coming home when I returned to Nepal 4 years later. Such a great hostel and a great team that run it!

I just love this place. Khem and the team are all so lovely and it feels like a second home when I'm in Kathmandu - thank you to you all for making Elbrus Home such a gem! Comfy beds, beautiful garden and a hot shower!

Best Location Ever and Breakfast Also Outstanding.

It was my 3rd time at this hostel and it feels like home! Great location, helpful and friendly staff, cheap same day laundry, comfy rooms, everything you need is there! Can't wait to go back

“Clean and great value for money”

It's a hostel/hotel with basic amenities. I booked a single room. The room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was very good, though it's the same everyday. Plenty of hot water available all day. For the price, it's great value. This is my second time staying here.

“Comfortable Stay”

I stayed for 6 days, 2 to start and 4 at the end. The place is relaxing with good basic breakfast. Location is in Thamel. Owner was very helpful with calling the cab including early morning flight to Lukla. Bed, shower and room were very comfortable. The neighbourhood is quite noisy with traffic and dogs, but nothing a set ear plugs can't take care of.

“Pleasant stay effort a reasonable”

The host was quite nice. Helped me to book an early taxi to the airport at a reasonable cost. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The coffee taste great.

Lovely garden, good location and price. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of hot water in the shower.

“Great location and comfortable rooms”

Great location and extremely accommodating staff. They were very kind at letting us check in early, check out late and leave bags in the spare room. They even lent us money for another hotel we stayed at in Tarkeygyang. The breakfast is a treat every morning - 2 toasts with 2 eggs or omelette and Nepali honey and banana. Shower very hot which was great because Nepal is very cold! Beds also have nice big duvets.

Nice staff, good location. Breakfast is a nice start of the day and available from 6-11.

The staff is really friendly and helps wherever they can! The breakfast is good and ready really fast. The dorms are basic but have everything it needs. And the beds are really comfortable.

“Recomend”

Elbrus home is basic but clean and well placed. We stayed here several times. The garden is a nice retreat and breakfast was good. The showes were hot. Keim our host was always present and helpful. We organised our trecking and other activities through them. I'd stay here again.
