“Just so joyful. Fell in love with life!”

So spacious and in a quiet area upon a hill with panoramic views across the valley, mostly housing but you could see key holy places plus the airport planes, enjoy the chants of the shiva temple below and create home. Two balconies a kitchen,map room / lounge two bedrooms and a bathroom this is a gem. The lights glitter at night and the dogs are a sweet chorus sometimes. It’s a great neighbourhood and you can walk to Kapan monastery or Gokaena forest if you are keen, plus so much support from our kind host family.

I really liked the location, easy to move around and very peaceful place to retreat to once the day was over. I felt very comfortable in the space. The hosts were really helpful and friendly - they directed me to some great local spots and offered some really valuable advice about kathmandu and nepal in general.

“Very nice place”

The whole apt is light and airy with big rooms and high clgs.  2nice big bedrooms. My mattress was thick &soft, with like new linen(but no top sheet)& comfy Pillows.  Beautiful rooftop terrace with view of Kathmandu &lines to dry clothes. Drinking water provided from a 5gal Bottle, clean bathroom, hot shower, large newer towel provided.  Short walk to grocery store where credit card accepted.  Host was friendly and helpful.

Very kind and helpful hosts, cozy family environment, well-equipped rooms and kitchen, beautiful views. The apartment is a 25-minute walk from the Boudhanath Stupa, in the neighborhood there are stores and restaurants. We would love to return!

A comfortable and enjoyable stay. Great view from the terrace and equally amazing view from the balconies. The facilities were delivered as promised.

Very Comfortable bed with great cosy blankets. Oven and stove top available for use in the kitchen and washing machine also available for use which was great. Great view from the balcony.

Great property with 2 beds, lounge room, kitchen and bathroom. Good location to grocery stores, quiet a bit out of tourist location but if you are needing to be in this area it’s great value for money, host was not there at the time but was very very helpful over phone for any of our needs.

“Perfect place in Kathmandu”

The apartment is a really nice and comfortable place to stay, with every amenities you need. There is an awesome view on the rooftop with beautiful sunsets and a view of Kathmandu by night. The location is ideal, a little away from the noise of the city and not far from the other districts of Kathmandu. It's a perfect place to visit Kathmandu, you can even reach some place by walk and do some hiking around. The owners are very friendly and helpful, it's a really welcoming family. We have spent 1 month there and we loved it. Thanks for everything Ramesh and Rajesh :)

Very beautiful and comfortable apartment! It's feels like you come to you best friend home! The location is so nice that you can enjoy view of Kathmandu, it's sunrise and sunset! The owner is very attentive and gave us all care we asked!

Calmsutra is a little out of the way of the usual Kathmandu tourist scene but is perfectly located for daily walks to Boudhanath, Kapan Monastery and Shivapuri National Forest. It is a clean, comfortable and quite location with friendly hosts' who are always on hand to give you tips and advice about things to do and see in Nepal. The apartment has everything you need including a beautiful, sunny kitchen. Ramesh and Rajesh made me feel safe and welcome, which as a solo female traveler is always what I'm looking for, thank you.
