I love everything about this property had really good time staff were super helpful they make you feel welcome 🤗 owner was really good taking care of every guest making sure every guest is comfortable I’m definitely coming back,any time I come to ktm I will stay here.

Clean hostel. Since not directly located at main road, quite calm for Kathmandu. It is only a 2-3 min walk to Thamel. Food is good and safe.

Perfectly located on the outskirts of Tamel, Birds Nest Hostel offers a chill, but central experience. Never have I seen the term Deluxe been misused so hard, but it does not really matters, and the room gives you exactly what you pay for! In the end it do not really matter, becasue the strength of this hostel lay in its common areas and the Local boys that frequens to the secret rooftop who offers good conversations and an amazing sunset! Food is also pretty good here.

Managed to feel like you were in a garden despite being in the city Beds were really comfy and room well furnished. Private room with single beds had a balcony with an amazing view and clean bathroom.

“Best Hostel after I stayed 1 month in Nepal”

This is my second time staying at this hostel. As usual, the reception staff was super helpful. I love the peaceful atmosphere in the public areas, unlike the hostel next door that plays music all day long. There are multiple public spaces and a rooftop to relax in. The manager and staff are very friendly. I’ll definitely come back to stay here if I visit Nepal again. Thanks!

Very friendly, helpful staff.

I stayed here for 10 days and after trekking and before my flight home. It's a lovely friendly hostel, hot showers, lots of different areas to sit and enjoy peace and quiet, whilst being convenient for Thamel. Sunny and Nitesh and all the staff were always helpful. I would definitely recommend and if I ever come back to Nepal I would stay here.

The staff is super friendly, helpful with everything from booking taxi to trek etc. Always wishing me good morning and available for any type of information. The food menu is extensive and tasty. The garden provides a comfortable space in the busy city. It is easy to meet other travellers in the common space.I came back three times and felt at home there :)

I recently stayed at Birds Nest in Nepal, and it was truly a wonderful experience. Birds Nest felt like a serene escape from the chaos of daily life. The room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me feel at home.
