This is a great accommodation option for the price - getting separate individual rooms for me and my Mom didn’t hurt our budget, and we could have rest from each other during our dynamic travels. Quiet, not crowded. The location is great, you can easily reach Thamel on foot, shops and gym are nearby. The airport is not far either. There is an opportunity to leave your baggage at the hostel in case you’re going to another city for several days (we did it twice). There is a cafe with nice prices, big meals,REAL coffee, free drinking water, a kettle and microwave to use and a refrigerator to keep your own food if needed. And the most important thing is that the staff and owners are great people that are always ready to help you and show individual approach. There is a Buddhist spirit about this simple but very friendly place. For me, this is a place to come back! :) Note: Everywhere in Nepal we had issues with hot water, including the Best Hostel. If you want to make the bathroom experience here most comfortable, tell Sunny or helpers a bit in advance that you’re going to take shower and they will do their best to provide enough hot water for that. The staff were very helpful, friendly and did all they could to assist and help me in my travels. Such as kindly looking after a bag so I could travel to another destination with less worries. It's a budget hotel, and for the price. It was great!

Nice hostel, good situation in a quiet neightborood. People are really nice and food is lovelly. Very good base camp for discovering the city and Nepal. I really enjoyed my stay here. They made my trip very confortable.

Best hostel is really the best. Comfortable, welcoming with friendly staff and great restaurant. Surrounding area is calm. We had great time, especially at evening with small bonfire chating with the owner, Sunny. Can only recommend!
