“Great western style hotel in Kathmandu”

The room looked exactly like the pictures (that was actually a first in Nepal). It was clean, fully equipped with mini fridge and AC. The bed was comfy, sheets were clean and the bathroom had hot water. We had a small balcony giving to the back court so noise wasn’t an issue although hotel was located on a dead end street anyway. The staff was also really nice and helpful.

“Great Stay”

I appreciated the flexibility at Ananta Home—my flight was canceled, and although they don’t refund when a flight is canceled due to war, they agreed to reschedule the date. The space is nice, though the rooms aren’t very spacious if you have a lot of luggage. The staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is decent. The location is convenient, though the price is a bit higher compared to other options in Kathmandu. Overall, it’s a very good stay with helpful staff and a great location.

The staff were absolutely amazing! Gave great recommendations for dinner and made me a packed breakfast when I needed to leave early!

I had the best time at Ananta house Kathmandu and I really felt at home that I booked again after my trekking . Great staff and amazing break fast …. Ah and the location is perfect near everything and massage and sauna just in front . Came to stay there once in Kathmandu .. thank u again

Fantastic location and amazing staff that were so helpful. The rooms have everything you need and make for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast is also really great and generous portions!! Lots of options. We loved it so much we booked a number of times to come back after treks and excursions. they also stored our bags for us which was so helpful. Thank you 🙏🏽

A wonderful gem of a hotel, the best so far on my travels since December. - Really comfortable bed, pillows, duvets - Excellent shower with a screen, bathroom doesn’t get flooded. Piping hot water all of the time - Delicious freshly made breakfast ordered from a menu - The three outstanding staff members at reception, the wonderful lady and the 2 lovely gentlemen are always on hand to help - Excellent location, off the main busy areas of Thamel

I was very satisfied with my stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was freshly prepared. What I especially appreciated was the friendly staff: since my room was not ready yet, I was offered a coffee and a drink while waiting. I would be happy to come back.

I had a really nice stay at Ananta Home during my first nights in Nepal in December 2025. This small hotel is located in a quiet street in Thamel, perfect for exploring Kathmandu. The manager and the whole team are really nice, welcoming and helpful. The communication is excellent, they helped to organize my airport shuttle and are there for any tips and information about traveling in Nepal. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean, there’s always hot water. The breakfast is really good, you can choose from a menue. Everything convinced me, that’s why I came back a second time in the beginning of January 2026. I can highly recommend this hotel and looking forward to my next stay.
