“Lovely week in Kathikas”

We had a lovely weeks stay in Spiti Calliope. It is in a great location in a small pretty village. There are several restaurants in walking distance and two vineyards at a short drive. It is a 30 minute drive or less from some great walking spots, and there are lots of low traffic roads around the village for an evening stroll. If you enjoy birdwatching, you can see and hear black francolins close by, and the village was full of swifts. The house is clean and comfortable, with good wifi and aircon. There is everything you need to cook, as well as an outdoor kitchen space. The shaded courtyard is a good space to relax on hot afternoons. The bath is a nice addition to help cool down. Marionos was easy to communicate with and sorted any of our requests quickly. We would recommend Spiti Calliope especially if you enjoy peace and quiet, and being close to nature.

I stayed for one night with my family. We had a wonderful time. The house had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable, bathrooms clean and the garden was perfect to sit outside with my family and bond while playing board games. The amenities were great and kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. It was truly a home away from home with all the comforts. The host was excellent and very accommodating. We received the location, info about the house and the history behind the house prior to our stay which was very helpful and considerate. I highly recommend this house for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful traditional village.

Very nice accommodation suitable for a family with children or two couples. With a little modesty even for 3 couples. The bedrooms are wonderful with very comfortable beds. The courtyard is very nice and great to stay outside. There are several restaurants within walking distance.

“Exceptional Traditional cosy stone house in an idyllic setting”

We loved our stay at House of Eleni. The traditional stone house is authentic and cosy, giving you a sense of being transported in time, but with a twist of modern touches. It is fully equipped - you just need to bring some groceries. The layout of this 3 bedroomed house is in 2 parts, which provided privacy between 2 couples, and the connecting courtyard brought us all together. The village is pretty too and an easy short walk to Tavernas/Cafe/Gin Bar/mini market. Perfect get away from the touristic hustle and bustle. 3O mins drive to Kato Paphos and 20 mins drive to Latchi Harbour. Communication with our host Marinos was excellent. He was very helpful and just a call away, providing plenty of information and tips about the house and location. His neighbour, Afroulla, who was equally friendly and helpful, showed us around the house and provided the keys. We would have loved to have stayed longer.

It's a wonderful house; a perfect blend of traditional build for the area and full modern comfort. The host was great and communicative, sends a complete guide to the area for first timers. The village itself is also very authentic and beautiful, with a cafe, restaurants and even a mini market.

A really charming property in a beautiful village, spotlessly clean and full of character. The beds were comfortable and the property was well equipped with everything we needed.

The villa was tastefully restored and yet retained its authenticity. We loved the atmosphere and village.

The house felt like it was the owners pride and joy a real homely feeling ,the layout of the property was perfect with the two parts of the house connected by the courtyard which was great for breakfast and sitting out in the evening.The location of the house was ideal right in the village in beautiful surroundings.So glad we found this ideal house and also great host Marinos.

stunning location and cosy, well-laid-out and fully equipped house. so peaceful and quiet and the courtyard was a wonderful place to sit out and enjoy wine and the night’s sky. Kathikas, although small, had several excellent eating and cafe spots within easy walking distance.
