“Super accommodation, host and next to the beach”

Position excellent as only a few steps to the beach. Close to all the restaurants and shops. Very friendly host.

“Wonderful stay”

We had a very charming stay at Votsalon Beach House and truly enjoyed our time there. We loved pretty much everything about the property. It is located very close to the beach, making it perfect for both relaxing beach days and evening sunset walks. As a couple, we stayed in the family apartment and really appreciated having the extra space. The bathroom had been recently renovated, which made it feel fresh, modern, and very clean. The kitchen was also very well equipped, allowing us to prepare simple dinners whenever we wanted. Although the area can be quite lively during the day, the house itself remains peaceful and relaxing. Most guests seemed to be families and older couples, so noise was never an issue. The only downside for us was the mattress in the bedroom, which was too soft. Unfortunately, we couldn't sleep comfortably there and ended up using the twin beds instead. We would recommend replacing it with a firmer mattress, as some guests may experience back pain during their stay. Other than that, we have no complaints. Marietta is an exceptionally kind and caring host. She regularly checked in to make sure everything was fine, and after two days we received fresh towels along with a light cleaning service, including taking out the trash. Thank you for everything, Marietta. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Votsalon Beach House to others.

“Lovely stay nearby the beach”

Really close to the beach. The area is quiet but on walking distance there are shops and restaurants. We were there in September and it wasn't crowded but also not a ghost town. The room is very clean though simple but has everything you would need. Extra credits should to the great host, Marietta. She's the best! :)

“A wonderful family holiday in a beautiful beach house!”

Votsalon is a beautiful beach house located in the very heart of a wonderful village, Alykes! The beach house was exceptionally clean and had a perfect design for a family stay. Marietta was very accommodating, ensuring our family had all we required to make it a fabulous holiday. Marietta was very kind offering beach toys and books to make the trip extra special for all, greeting us each morning with a welcoming smile! The beach house has a lovely outdoor terrace area, to enjoy breakfasts with a fantastic view or cosy evenings with a wine! Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and bars. But not too close, making the evenings lovely and peaceful! We are already looking to return here in May and would definitely return to Votsalon! We would highly recommend to anyone to book this property!

“We had a fantastic stay”

We absolutely loved our stay at Votsalon Beach House. Marietta was great from start to finish - she helped us book taxis to and from the airport and also helped us book our hire car. She was so welcoming and made sure she was available for anything we needed. The accommodation is in an incredible location, about a 30 second walk from the beach. The patio area of our room was lovely! The beds were also very comfortable and the air con worked well

Quaint little beach house just steps from the beach. Comfy bed, and really nice outdoor patio! Large mini fridge, nice little kitchenette. Next to a very good restaurant. Owner was also very friendly and kind! Very close walk to town as well.

Great location, 300m from one of the best beaches in the island, but also further away from the main restaurants and touristic buzz, super host lady, always helpful and with a smile, room had all the essentials, we had a wonderful time with my three kids, loved the island!

Excellent little property just a stones throw from the beach. Basic but very clean and tidy. Just what we needed on such short notice. The Landlady was very charming, friendly and helpful. Was a pleasure and would definitely stay again..

The property is beautiful and exceptionally well maintained, airy and bright with lovely decor 💖 just a few steps away from the clear water of the Ionian Sea, the free beach is perfect for families and ideal with a picnic! Umbrellas are also provided. A walk through the salt flats to see the wildlife and especially the birds was a favourite with the whole family 💖 The hosts, Marietta and Panos are Superhosts for sure, friendly and accommodating x I have already recommended Votsalon to my friends and I can’t wait to return 💖

Located close to the beach, The sea is shallow and gently shelving. Easy walking distance to resort centre. Plenty bars and restaurants.
